Of all the kittens that I had this year and there was quite a herd of them, my favorite was Skittles. From being the little sickly thing that almost died on me to becoming the kitten that rocked Sabrina's world, he is the one that I won't forget. Skittles was my second favourite. My best boy was Toby, cos he had blue fur and opened his cage door to go to bed. And I'm sure time has cured him of sleeping in the litter box.

Jackson was my favorite, he stole my heart. I also think Sabrina is pretty cool too. How is Sabrina doing without a lot of kitties to momma?

Jackson was my miracle boy. In fact, both Jacksons were miracle boys. Toby made me laugh. I saw another cat over at the Petsmart last Saturday that climbed up and opened his cage when he was ready to get away from the other cats in the playroom. His cage was on the second level and he knew right where it was. Cats are just so freaking amazing and smart. Well, a lot of them are. Sabrina is doing OK but I fell like she misses the action with the kittens around. She came down last night and laid beside me on the blanket on the couch while I was reading. She pretty much sleeps the day away. She doesn't care at all about socializing with the Missy family or Kenya.

That's kind of sad, Kritter, but it still must be better for her than being a distant second best like she was at her old home. She probably yearns for human-time to make up for all she missed before. The time with you is probably the best part of her day.

It is kinda sad, Petti. It is hard to spend more time with her because there is only so much that I can do in that bedroom before I run out of things.
She does get me for 2 hours every night and I pet her and love on her while I am there.
She doesn't like Kenya being in that part of the house so now I keep her door closed so she will feel more free to just hang out instead of being on "Kenya Watch".

Obviously the answer is more kittens, lol. Poor Sabrina, I hope she takes a leap of faith and figures out how to be part of the family.

Alli, lets see if we can find another answer besides "more kittens".
It is really nice not having kittens here even if Sabrina is not happy.
I would be really surprised if Sabrina takes any leaps into family life here. She just doesn't seem to want to be part of a cat group.

There are many days I don't feel like being part of a people group!

Me too, jellybean. I don't do a lot of group mingling myself.
Everybody here pretty much gets to do their own thing as long as it doesn't piss me off.

Just got a call from another foster and she said that Jingles got adopted today by a little girl for her Christmas present. Her dad brought her in so she could choose which one that she wanted.

And looks like Holly scored in the great home contest too. She lives with a big doggie.

That must be one laid back dog to accept Holly that quickly. Too cute!

Kittens know no fear and just intrude themselves where ever they want to be.
The doggie did not have a choice just like I don't have a choice when Trixie wants to perch herself on my shoulder.
