I want Jingles and Mistletoe and Kringle. Why not expand my herd to seven?

Kritter I am so very glad I do not live near you. I'd be on your doorstep picking up one of those cuties.

Mistletoes, Holly, and Noelle are packing their bags and saying goodbye to Sabrina this morning. I am taking them to an adoption event at Petsmart and then they are going home with the rescue. Their surgery is scheduled for 12/2.
The rescue wanted me to keep them until 12/1 but she has way more room at her place than I have here so they are going today.
Jingles and Kringle will still be hanging with Sabrina for a bit longer.

Bon Voyage, little ones! And I don't even need to remind them to practice their lessons, 'cause this bunch was born sparkling and shining....

We practiced the 'sparkle and shine' last night just to be sure they had it down.
There is a lot more competition this year in November than there usually is but I reminded them to stay on point and pick the home that they want and not go with the first person that shows any interest.
I am leaving the last minute preps with Sabrina as she has become my Kitten Assistant.

That's all Sabrina needed, apparently. To have a worthwhile job and feel needed. Good job, Sabrina!
And good luck, little ladies!

Bon voyage Mistletoes, Holly, and Noelle! May you find loving forever homes today. Sabrina's Kitten Finishing School! I'm so happy Sabrina has found a sense of purpose and is a happier kitty these days.

You know, Sabrina does seem to have that prissy schoolmarm air about her, from what Kritter posts.

LOLOL Sabrina's Kitten Finishing School. I love it.
At least one of these cats has found a vocation in life instead of making a career of eating and sleeping.

She was sleeping on those plastic totes all this time dreaming about a more refined kitty world, and then realized that she could teach the next generation manners, etiquette and social graces.

Poppy, are you channeling Sabrina because that sounds like something that she would think?

I might be! She reminds me of a kitty we had growing up called Elsie, aka her royal Highness. She was an elegant, sleek blue gray cat with white mitten toes and a very prissy attitude. She always had this look of disdain like we were all sloven commoners that she was just barely tolerating.

Yep, Elsie sounds a lot like Sabrina.
Holly got preadopted today by a great guy as a surprise for his fiancee who loves Siamese cats. She won't be able to go home with until after her surgery on 12/2.
Holly, Mistletoes, and Noelle went home with another foster who has 2 preteen boys who are the greatest kids. Those kittens are going to have a blast until they go in for their surgery on 12/2.

Yipee on the kittens, sounds like they are well on their way to their furever homes.
So, did you avoid coming home with more kittens?

I say no, since she is going out of town. But there are probably some lined up waiting for her when she gets back!

Nope, no new kittens. It looks like the kitten train is finally slowing down.
There is a blind adult over at the city shelter that I told the rescue to put a hold on for me if I can pick it up the Monday after Thanksgiving weekend. Not sure if they will hold a cat that long but hoping because they shouldn't be as crowded now.

I saw Holly, Noelle, and Mistletoes today when I took Kringle and Jingles in to the rescue for their surgery on Tuesday.
They had their spays earlier this week and were ready for adoption. I think Holly and Mistletoes have already been spoken for and Noelle won't be around for long.

Mistletoes was adopted today. She is home for Christmas. She was my favorite. I hope she found a home where she'll be ridiculously spoiled and pampered, just exactly as she should be!

I think she was my favorite of that group too.
She has a great purrsonality plus I loved her little mistletoes.
Of all the kittens that I had this year and there was quite a herd of them, my favorite was Skittles.
From being the little sickly thing that almost died on me to becoming the kitten that rocked Sabrina's world, he is the one that I won't forget.

Got an email from Candy and she is doing fine. she sent some pics from her mom's phone but I can't get them to download anywhere so I can't post them.
Also just heard from the foster that took Jingles and Kringle for their surgery yesterday and she said they are doing fine. Both combo tested negative, thank goodness, and they are on their way into Petsmart for adoption on Saturday.
