Thanks, Roy. I have been very fortunate in life and its just a way for me to give back plus doing something that I enjoy doing most of the time. Also an excuse for my house to always be a hot mess since I have never been that great of a housekeeper. I have never been the person with the prettiest furniture or the greatest decorating themes because I just don't care about that kind of stuff. This house is definitely "lived in". Most of the time passably clean but definitely not a model home.

Maybe Sabrina heard you talking about her to your on line friends and decided it was time to make an attempt pull it together Kritter your house sounds like mine minus the animals. I don't have one picture hanging on any wall, decorating is not my thing. I wish it was, I see some super cool stuff at the thrifts (usually in other people carts, the good stuff barely hits the floor) but don't know how to put it all together and make it look good.

LOL I have absolutely no interest in pulling anything all together on my walls or furniture wise.
I was behind the door looking at kittens when the decorating households and homemaking skills genes were being passed out. I am just not the motherly household keeping, cooking person.
I just try to keep things on the presentable side in case EMS has to rush in and cart me out. Don't want them tripping over stuff and slowing down the response time.
The only thing I am hoarding is shipping boxes and I need to get a handle on that stash. Hate to throw away a box because I might need it to ship something.

Even Sabrina came down to get in the act. First time I have ever seen her play with toys.

She is doing pretty well with them as long as they don't play with her tail.
Just got a call about an Angora cat at the city kill shelter with a bad URI. I am picking her up tomorrow from the rescue. Going to set her up in isolation in the ebay bedroom. That the only room with no felines in it here now.

The kittens have come such a long way from the poopy and hissy mess they were when you got them.
And yippee that Diva Sabrina is coming out of her comfort zone and actually playing with toys.
Great job Kritter!!

Thanks, Shirley. It will be two weeks tomorrow and they have come a long way for sure. Candy already is spoken for even though she won't be ready for at least two more weeks. Snickers and KitKat made their weight but they need more socialization.
Sabrina has really been a surprise. She has been coming down more and more during the day and is always at my bedroom door in the morning. She really surprised me with the toy playing.

Sabrina learned from the kittens. She saw them having fun with the toys and decided to try it too.
Good for her. She is making big strides and may end up being more of a normal cat (whatever that is) after all.
Glad to hear that Candy already has a home, she really is a cutie.

Ya Sabrina! That is a wonderful step forward! Yup, I bet she did get inspired by all the kitten play. They are so stinking cute. I can hardly take it. Thanks for posting more photos.

Ha - poppyshops. The phrase stinking cute fits. It's like you can OD on their cuteness.

Hugs for all the sweet kitties, Candy reminds me a bit of Sabrina with her coloring. Glad she had decided to partake in the fun. Lol... she only gets mad if they play with her tail... hehe

I've got to stop looking at these pics, I want to fill my house with kittens! Is that how hoarders start?

I think so!
Or they live next door to kritter and she slips them in the house when no one is looking.

Wonder if Sabrina finally figured out that the kittens were guests and would not be replacing her?

Sabrina ... is always at my bedroom door in the morning. Psssst....Kritter, that is her very clear message that she thinks her rightful place is in your room, sleeping with you.

Sabrina was on my last nerve this morning. To give her some litter box privacy, I put a litter box in the bathroom right next to the bathtub. This morning she had ignored the box and pooped in the bathtub. So, after I cleaned the tub, I left water in it hoping that will give her the hint. Its not like I don't have enough to do around here without having to clean the bathtub several times a day because the diva has her panties in a twist.
She has been down mingling with the villagers all morning which she has never done with kittens before.

Tabby, you may be right but apparently Sabrina doesn't realize that Kenya has that bedroom all staked out and those two are not on friendly terms. The Ebay bedroom will be welcoming a new tenant this afternoon. I am picking up an Angora with a nasty URI from the rescue and she has to be in isolation. Kritter City will be at full capacity and there are no room accommodation alternatives for any of them to consider.

Kenya is hanging in there. She wants to join in the fun but she is very timid.
Maybe once all the kittens leave, I can work more with her.

They are beautiful - are they a special breed with the long hair? Sabrina is also really pretty. I love the long hair kitties. I guess they are harder to take care of.

Has Kenya stopped the overgrooming or whatever it was?
Oh, and how is tippi/tipster/whatever her name is?

Roy - long hair cats aren't that hard to take care of. 4 of mine are long hair and I started brushing them as kittens and they love it. They do shed some hair in the warmer months, but I brush them all regularly and that keeps the loose hair to a minimum. Cuddling with a soft fuzzy kitteh is really nice, especially in the winter. And having cats I have just accepted that cat hair is a fashion accessory.
