I'm glad Snickers has come around, Sabrina will not be happy, but then Sabrina is rarely happy about anything.
Did you ever see what the Mom looked like? I just wonder if she was a black cat since most of them are black.

No, I didn't check her kennel number in time.
I am sure she was THRed after being spayed since she was most likely feral.

I wish her luck then. She sure made some gorgeous kittens. Why not, thinking about them doesn't do any harm.

Ohhh my gosh! Skittles! Must resist kitten cuteness and not go adopts a pile of kittens! They are lucky kitties to be in your care and not in the shelter. Sabrina maybe feeling different. Kittens can be little chaos balls, especially for those immune to their cuteness. I bet they will find homes quickly.

Sabrina doesn't seem to mind them that much. She sleeps most of the day anyway and they stay out of her way when she comes down from her ivory tower to eat or use the litter box.
She shot a few hisses across their bow the first time she was down with them and apparently they got the message.
Skittles is major cuteness for sure and he has a little raspy meow to go with it.

Snickers tricked me into letting him loose in the foster bedroom last night. As soon as he hit the floor, he was no longer his snuggly purring self but hid like I beat him everyday with a big stick.
Sabrina was outside my bedroom door this morning instead of snoozing on the cat tree in the morning sun. I had to stand guard at the litter box so she could go in and pee without the kittens trying to help her. I think they have broken her spirit as she doesn't hiss at them and tries to stay out of their way. I offered to let her go in with the Missy family but that was a "no go" so she is going to have to stick it out 9 more days with the kittens.

I'm really beginning to feel a lot of sympathy for poor Sabrina. She just wants peace and quiet.... in a house full of kittens.

LOL I know, tabby, Sabrina is an innocent victim of blind justice. I am also looking forward to some peace and quiet and a few less litter boxes to clean.
Only 9 more days, Sabrina, only 9 more days.

That would be like Kritter and I or anyone blissfully childless stuck in room full of 2 year olds. I too can relate to poor Sabrina... lol

Stuck in a room with any kids at all would be a torture for me. I would be on top of the stack of totes on the dresser too. Maybe I can move the kittens out into the hall and bathroom area for part of the time to give her a break.

If Sabrina can't even use the litter box without them, that's bad. Poor cat.

Kittens are taking a break in the hall for a couple of hours to give Sabrina time to take care of personal business.
I hope she knows how much I want her to be a happy girl.

I don't think Sabrina would be happy unless you got rid of all the kittens plus all the Missy family.
And even then she would be a grumpy gal.

Well, the kittens will definitely be leaving but she is out of luck on the Missy family.
She will be leaving before they do.

She just needs to get over herself and realize there are going to be other cats around.
As long as you give her some place to be alone to take care of business I don't think she has any gripe at all.

I thought about putting her back on Petfinder and the rescue's website after the kittens are gone from everybody's radar. Might not hurt to throw out the bait and see what bites. she might find a great home like Olive, Bella, and Savannah did.
She has turned into a sweet cat with me and she would be great in a home with no other cats or small kids. I hate to see her spend her life alone in the bedroom except when I pass through or read with her at night.

She would be perfect for an older lady who has lost a cat and wants an older one to pet and love and keep her company.
There is someone out there for her, it just takes time to make a good fit.
I wish more people would take older cats. They are already broken in and can give love just like a kitten can.

I bet you could find her a home when it calms down, Kritter. Who knows, when the kittens are all gone, she may come out more.

Sabrina was at my bedroom door this morning and while I was doing the cat boxes in that part of the house, she was lying on the floor of the foster bedroom with kittens dancing all around. Maybe she is starting to finally come around with baby steps.
Will take my camera with me tonight when I go in the foster bedroom to read. I could have snapped some cute pics last night.
Candy and Skittles climbed up on the couch with me last night so definitely making progress with them. Snickers is still playing the wild card but I think he will come around. Will probably add KitKat to the mix today and then no cages in my living room.
Skittles is definitely my favorite. He is a character.

Will get them for you, Bliss, I promise.
Need to get all these cages stored away and some major litter vacuuming done in the living room and den. I can't stand this cage chaos one minute longer.
