I could view Only Murders on my regular TV. Cool show I don't know if I will be able to see additional shows or not, since I don't subscribe to any services. If you have a Hulu subscription, then you can watch ANY show that Hulu offers. The lower rate plan includes commercials, the higher rate is commercial free. But all plans include all shows.

I'm watching Will Trent on Hulu. It's quite good! I love the dog. Season 1 is on Hulu, current season 2episodes air on ABC weekly and then on Hulu the next day.

Thanks Val. So much to check out. Going to check out Hulu.
There is an area post today about T-Mobile being the best, but I am stuck with Xfinity Internet.
Yes, Betty the dog is apparently permanent, as I was hoping she would be.

With streaming services, you usually get to watch all the shows that service offers. Some shows will be commerical free, some may have commericals, and in some cases you may have to pay extra for a specific show (AMZ Prime Video seems to be the main service charging for specific shows). You just have to pick the services with the most networks/shows you're interested in. ABC streams their shows on Hulu after the regular network airing, which is the only reason I watch Hulu. Hulu has the least number of shows I like. You have to shop around for streaming just like anything else you buy. All you need to stream is an internet connection, a smart TV OR a Roku/Firestick if you don't have a smart TV. I was afraid they weren't going to keep Betty the dog, but it appears she'll be a regular For anyone here - if you like Monk and/or Death in Paradise, I think you'll like Will Trent.

I am enjoying Tracker and I binged Will Trent. I love troubled characters whose flaws make them good at their job. I'm glad the Rookie is back too.

I'm glad the Rookie is back too. The wedding episode was a hoot. So was the honeymoon episode From what I can tell (I'm only in Season 1), Betty the dog on Will Trent has her own social media presence and is "Betty the Bad Ass" (probably Nico's doing LOL) I also like how Will is slowly forming a "family" with the broken folks in his life and giving them hope and sense of belonging.

I also enjoy Tracker and the Rookie. And the Equalizer.
And Grey's Anatomy is coming back next week, as well as Transplant. And then there's Lonestar 911 and Fire Country. And I like all of the Chicago shows. So many shows, so little time.
Will miss the Good Doctor and Bob Hearts Abishola.

9-1-1 Lonestar won't be airing the new season until this fall, on Fox. The regular 9-1-1 season premiers tomorrow, on ABC (which hopefully means it will be on Hulu on Friday-woo hoo!). It sucks that they're on different networks now - no more crossover episodes I wonder if ABC will will pickup 911 Lonestar if Fox decides it's too expensive too? Looks like the next episode of Fire Country FINALLY airs this Friday. I see where there will be a Suits spin-off, Suits L.A. I have my doubts. What made Suits so great, IMO, was the relationship between Mike and Harvey, and they won't be in the spin-off. I always thought they should have made a sequel with Harvey moving to Seattle to work with Mike. Having Harvey "owe" Mike is the opposite of the original Suits premise and I think would have worked. But hey, I'm just a viewer not a producer so what do I know?

So many shows, so little time. That's where streaming subscriptions have it over cable, IMO. You don't have to record anything. You just catch the shows when YOU want.

I just finished watching Young Victoria on AMZ Prime Video. It's about Queen Victoria from early teenage to coronation, wedding and first child. It was really good!

I'll catch it on Hulu tomorrow (airs on Hulu day after it airs on regular network).
I watched Hurricane Season with Forest Whitaker this past weekend. EXCELLENT movie. Came out in 2009, based on a true story about a New Orleans coach who took his basketball team to the state championships, against all odds, the school season after Katrina hit. There's also a 2023 movie by the same name, but not the same topic. The 2009 movie is on Roku and a couple of other streaming channels. Be prepared to cry, both sad and happy.

CBS FINALLY aired more episodes of Elsbeth. It's REALLY good. I love the uniformed cop assigned to Elsbeth. They make a good pair.

When my sister was here we watched the first episode of Elsbeth on regular CBS, not on cable. Since I had already watched it on Paramount+ I knew what was happening. But CBS cut parts of the show. Not really important scenes but enough that I noticed. I guess they need to cut it down to fit into the regular TV time slot. I need to watch the new episodes, I really like her too.

I watch all my CBS shows on my Paramount + streaming subscription. That's the only subscription I pay the higher price for no ads I have to wait a day to see the new releases, but it's worth it. For anyone who liked Columbo, Monk, Perry Mason, Will Trent, Murder In Paradise etc., I think you'll really like Elsbeth. Plus, Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Suits & Jack Ryan) plays the chief she's supposed to be monitoring and I love him.

"It's Complicated" is back on as a free movie on Prime Video. Some parts of it are hilarious. An older movie starring Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin, John Krasinski (The Office) and Steve Martin. About a divorced couple who hook back up together in NYC at their son's graduation. The bathroom pot-smoking scene was hilarious.
