She/he/ the adorable little peanut is too freaken cute for words!!
I am always floored when anyone gives a tripod or tripawed lol as we sometimes say cat pause when it comes to adopting. Cats and dogs adapt so dang well to being tripods that you honestly don't even notice it.
And I am going to say this. I think most of you on here know we have a little deaf Staffy aka a pitty. She was my first ever deafy but she will not be my last. 99.9% of the time you wouldn't even know she's deaf. She is a normal dog who just has ears for decoration. So for me any time one of these types of animals is listed as special needs it bugs me a little bit. I DO NOT see a tripod or a deaf animal or a blind animal as special needs. They are just dogs or cats that are a little different.
We've had the little Tot now for over 3 years and from her I have decided I will ALWAYS have at least one animal that has been deemed "special needs" be it sight/hearing/or tripod or senior. Far too many people ignore these types of animals because they think they are too much trouble or lesser. NOPE not true at all.
And it always boggles my mind on adoption forms when they ask what would you do if you had to give up your pet. Since Todd and I often joke our home is like Hotel California for animals in that they can never leave lol I always respond with..I have NO idea. Once an animal comes here it is here for it's life.

His new name is Jackson. His namesake is Joaquin Jackson, the bravest Texas Ranger of them all. We have switched to clay litter in the litter box this morning. Apparently he slept in the shreds left in the litter box overnight and pooped on his towel. I knew he would grab your heart, Tabby.

He is cuteness personified.
I can never tell the sex of a kitten. When my Greyladdie was a kitten his name was Greylady. I took him to get spayed and the vet called me after to pick him up. His message, "The surgery went well but Greylady is no lady".

I have had the opportunity to know so many cats/kittens and their privates over the years that I am pretty good at it if I look in that direction.
I hadn't really paid any attention until I was cropping that pic of him on his back and it caught my eye.
Cameras don't make that kind of mistake.

And ya always gotta laugh at the little kitties when their dang ears are bigger than their whole head lol. Once his fur grows back you won't even notice he's missing a limb. Plus with him being so dang young he will never ever remember having 4 legs. He's going to be hell on wheels with no idea other cats have 4 legs lol.

I have a 3 legged cat now, Tanji, who is also missing a front leg. I had him as a foster when he was a kitten and had his amputation. His leg was almost severed by a cat fan belt. Tanji runs with the wind, is on and off cat trees in a single bound, and does everything the 4 legged cats do. Nothing "special needs" about him at all.

He is so funny. Most kittens sleep all curled up but he is always spread out full length.

He's too cute. When does he get to mingle in the open with the rest of the herd?

His next step will be in the foster bedroom with Sabrina.
It will depend on whether the two kittens coming tomorrow are contagious or not. We will reshuffle when they get here.

He does have some ears on him, doesn't he? Also really getting his frisky on. Quiet a different kitten than when he first arrived. He definitely needs a friend.

I love that innocent look they have in their eyes so early on. Then at about 12 weeks they get blase.

Sabrina is just about the same with keeping to herself. The Missy family cruises in and out of the foster bedroom during the day and she stays on her cat tree. They ignore her and she watches them.
Last night when I went in there to read, I scooted the other cats out and she came down from the tree and hung on the couch with me.
I guess she is not ready to come out of the bedroom yet.

She is probably waiting for Savannah to show back up and beat her up.

I am glad that at least Savannah came out of her shell and was able to move on. It is getting kinda crowded around here.

I brushed mine today, and I swear I have enough hair to knit another cat. Now I just need to learn how to knit. I do put it to use though, I put it in a container by the birdfeeders and the birds are using it for their nests along with the dryer lint, bits of string, etc that I throw in there.

Love the name Jackson for him. Quincy also likes to sleep stretched out like that. And he lays horizontally on my bed, feet against me, head at the edge, and taking up a huge portion of it.

I am so allergic to cats but that little guy has won my heart, I told my son if my allergies were not so bad I would be in the car and driving to Kritter's house to adopt that sweet baby. I keep coming back to this thread and looking at the pictures, what a cutie.

Alli, you wouldn't even have to drive here. I make home deliveries. I am picking up two little ones tomorrow with major eye issues. They have an appointment with the eye guy on Wednesday morning so hopefully he can save their sight. Jackson is sleeping right now so will get some pics later.
