Little cutie hasn't told me her name yet which is the only thing that she hasn't talked about since she got here. Her right front leg has been amputated because of an unknown injury. By the time that she was dumped at the city shelter, it was too late to save her leg.

Oh gosh, that is so sad. Do you think someone abused him? That poor little kitten.

His name should be Nemo, 3 legs isn't ideal but he'll still have a nice happy life

HE is a girl so Nemo won't work.
My Tanji also had one of his front legs amputated and he runs like the wind.
Up and down cat trees in a flash.
On and off tables in a single bound.
Clean, she had a severe strangulation/degloving injury to the leg so hard to know if abuse or not. She is also underweight, had flea infestation, and her eyes were crusted closed. It took them several days to stabilize her before they could do surgery.
Thank goodness somebody took her for help even if they didn't get any farther then the shelter parking lot.

Cute as a button. First thing I thought when I saw the pictures was that this kitty was a love. Hense, Lovey.

Oh she is adorable, such a tiny thing to have gone thru so much already. Give her a head rub from me and tell her some NM kitties are praying for her to heal quickly and feel better soon.

If she's talking up a storm, you could name her Chatty. Or Cathy.

How about Gabby?
Being so young, she'll adapt to the tripod situation with no problems I'd bet.

When our first dog went blind at an early age, he adapted quickly and very well. Our vet told us that animals adapt to disabilities better than we do because it doesn't cause them the mental anguish that it does for humans. That precious little kitten will do just fine! What a sweetheart! I like the name Gabby!

What a beauty! And so lucky she has you in her life. One of my sister's dogs had a leg amputated due to cancer. He adjusted fine though her daughter kept wanting to put his leg back on.

No pics for you, smarty pants. She doesn't do much but sleep right now. Too bad she doesn't have another little one to cuddle and play with.

I think there are probably enough kittens around here right now that we don't need to be trucking any in from NM.
Kittens just seem to do better when they have a friend with them.

Kittens do love friends.
My wild 2 have calmed down so much since I have been putting Bitty in with them. They are all out in the house today and so far no issues. Just exploring everything and loving on all the aunties and old uncle Coggie.
So.... are you keeping this one Kritter?

No, not at this point. She was pulled by the rescue that I work with and so will go back to them as soon as she weighs enough to get spayed. After they have helped me with the adoption of the Lowes kitten and the kitten Sabrina plus placement for Savannah, it was my turn to help them.
No telling how long Ragdoll Sabrina will be here plus it looks like I have raised my hand for another military deployment foster through the Humane Society. Am hoping that somebody else steps up to the plate for that cat but so far no takers. Foster will be for 6 months so she will be here until November.

Good that you got the Lowes kitten adopted. Have they been able to trap the MomKat yet? Different Lowes kitten. The one that got adopted was the sick one that was dumped at Lowes last fall/late last year. The current Lowes kitten has not been trapped yet. Tthe garden manager finally called me back yesterday while I was picking up Sabrina. I called her back and got her voice mail with no return call yet. She said the Monkat had the kittens but was very vague with any additional info. So, no progress on the Lowes situation after almost 2 weeks. I will swing by with the trap on Friday and see if the manager is there.
