It sounds like Jackson found a great home. They visited with him yesterday and then said they wanted to think it over. They showed up at Petsmart this morning before the adoption counselor arrived and waited because they wanted to make sure nobody else adopted him before they could.

Great for Jackson. Poor people they don't know what they're in for! That little rascal is going to keep them busy and give unconditional love for many years!

So happy for Jackson but I wish he'd been able to stay with his friend. People need to realize they're eventually going to get another one anyway so they might as well just start out with two who get along.

JACKSON UPDATE...
"Adopted Jackson Sunday! He had his front right leg amputated to the shoulder. We are in love. Sweetest kitten EVER! He follows us everywhere, cuddles in bed at night and has decided my 3 year old is his personal living play thing. Oh and my son renamed him Pirate"
Good for you, Jackson. Looks like you picked a great home.

I'm so happy.
That they would take the time to post about him just shows how much they care.
He is a super kitty and deserved a great home like that.

Another post from Jackson's family. Apparently he is still his special kitten self.
"He's doing fabulous! He doesn't even have problems with our stairs. I did, however, wake up to him attacking my husband's toes at 3am this morning. Nothing quite like a midnight giggle!!!!"
