OMG. Just tried to log into Tradesy and it says it was suspended and to contact them. I will of course, but it's too late today and this uncertainty is killing me. I read some stories online because of suspension due to fakes. I never had anything listed that could be fake! I think some idiot who bought something claimed their J.Crew was fake (we all know people like this exist). From what I read suspension is usually permanent. I just can't believe it.

Wow, makin, sorry to hear that. I hope you can get things figured out. Did you do a lot of business on Tradesy?

OMG seriously J Crew? Was it outlet maybe? Do they have an appeals process if that turns out to be what it was?

Wow, makin, sorry to hear that. I hope you can get things figured out. Did you do a lot of business on Tradesy? Well, kind of. I am selling an item every 1-2 days. Sometimes multiple items a day. Weird thing. When I went to tradesy.com and saw I have 2 messages... and you know how when you put a mouse over that message sign it gives you a preview of a message? I did that before clicking and for a brief second I managed to catch that this is message offering me $450 for something. I don't have ANYTHING even close to that price listed. So maybe my account has been somehow hacked. I am so shaken right now, I am literally close to tears. If this can happen on Tradesy, it could happen on ebay with me too, at any given moment. Horrible.

My last few items sold were J.Crew dress and top, Lulu pants and BCBG tunic. One of them must have claimed their item is "fake", because the only reason I found from googling to have account suspended is being accused of selling a fake by customer. It could also be not a customer, but just random person reporting random listing. I have no idea. I sent them a message and will call in the am, but I hear they never answer the phone.

Gasp!
I am sorry this has happened. I hope it is a huge mistake and they get things fixed in the morning.

You know, their communication to sellers is sorely lacking.
When I had the return it took over a week for them to even tell me it was because a SNAD. Until the buyer returned the item and tey decided I had described it wrong, I had no idea.
But to suspend a seller and give NO indication as to why it was done is appalling.

Ugh! I hope you get it sorted out soon. You might want to try asking on their Facebook page as well, sometimes companies are faster to respond through social media: www.facebook.com/gotradesy

I'm sure it is a mistake. Things were very wonky there the last few days.

That's terrible- no way to run a business at all! I'm almost hoping your account was hacked and someone was phishing but that's bad too. :-( Please update us when you find out... fingers crossed for you!

Oh, so sorry to hear this. Please check in, makin. It has to be a mistake. You would have been contacted if something you had sold was returned and under review. I don't think they would suspend someone based on pictures alone; that would be crazy and unjust.

Called as soon as I woke up. Useless, they told me to e-mail to their trust team and gave me an e-mail address to write to. I asked if there was a possibility to talk to any of the "Trust team" members, but nope. Same results with their Live Chat -"email to trust team". So I sent them a message and awaiting reply.
I also really really hope an account was hacked. That weird message I saw is an indication.

makin - I am so sorry this happened to you. I was doing good selling there now all of a sudden I haven't sold a thing in a few weeks.
If they don't get back to you soon, call again.

If they still haven't replied to your email, makin, I think you need to contact Ina. Maybe she'll publish something and embarass the heck out of Tradesy. This is unconscionable.

But according to many stories I read online, Tradesy team is quite vindictive. Members had accounts suspended for posting bad reviews and being pushy in their e-mails with Tradesy... I will wait for a day or two and then contact her.

Wow, all that needs to be reported to ina. That's no way for a marketplace to do business, not if they want to stay in business.
Glad now that I shut my account down over there.

Makin, I'm out of town until Sunday night. If you haven't heard from them before then, send me a PM and I'll send you the number they called me on last time. It should be on the caller ID of my land line.

I agree Ina needs to know about this. Tradesy is becoming a major player in the e-commerce world and they can not run a business like this.

I will definitely contact Ina if it's something ridiculous like a "fake Anthropologie". However, I still have faith in them and maybe my account was somehow compromised. That doesn't really excuse not sending me any messages whatsoever before or after suspending it.

It sounds like Tradesy is run by a bunch of spoiled brats.
The only time I had my funds held, they never contacted me about anything. They held the funds and about 3 weeks later released them.
I'm supposed to have a "business" account with them. They never synced my Ebay store but my rep contacts me all of the time about special promotions.
They seem even more disjointed than Ebay.
Like Val said this is absolutely no way to run a business. If this can happen to you Makin, it can happen to all of us! I hope you find something out soon.

I wouldn't burn any bridges with them yet, wait and see if you can get your account back first. If you can't then contact Ina and give em hell. Their way of doing business might work when you are a small company and can be brats doing things your way but it doesn't support a large corporation for long. Eventually all those customers you burn come back to bite you, especially in todays world of social media. If more people would stand up to them they would feel the backlash pretty quick. It would only take one or two big people like Ina to put reports out there for all the people who are scared of them to start speaking up and then it would snowball fast. They would quickly change their ways or go under. My guess they aren't going to want to lose all they've built so they'd announce a "change of management" and suddenly you'd see a a lot more customer service friendly company.

I would actually call again. And tell them, the trust team is not responding and I have the right to know WHY my account was suspended. ANY CS rep can look at your damn account and tell you.
If by Monday you don't hear anything, I would contact INa on this. They need a slap on their wrist.
