She really likes the FF Kitten Tender Turkey flavor. Drives me crazy with her scratchy meow in the morning until I fix her bowl. She has to eat in the foster bedroom or the Missy family would shove her out of the way.
She is trying to get Daisy to play with her this morning but Daisy is taking a sunbath on the back of the couch in the den and is trying to ignore her.

Smart kitten, turkey is good stuff.
She better be careful or Daisy will take her down and then bathe her. Make sure to get pics!

She gave up on both Daisy and Lucy and is now playing by herself with her toys.

Have some pics but haven't loaded them yet. Waiting for PB to get their act in gear.
Trixie was picked up this morning at 9:00. She is not a happy kitten. Last night I explained what was going to happen today but apparently she didn't hear that not eating after midnight was part of the deal.
Sabrina's food in the foster bedroom was pulled too so she was also complaining this morning.

She won't be coming home until after 6:30 tonight when Linda gets off work so she is going to be really hungry.
I put a cover over her carrier so hopefully she won't be too scared with all the crazy that will be going on there. It is Feral Friday so they will be doing a bunch of cat spay/neuters.

UPDATE*****
Trixie was the first one on the table this morning for surgery. Everything went OK but she was a little frantic waking up. She will come home around 7:00 tonight.
The shelter wanted to take her in there for adoption but was told that wasn't an option. I knew they would want her because they don't have any kittens.

Trixie is home and is still under the influence. I left her in the foster bedroom with Sabrina so she could sleep it off.
She even has a tattoo on her belly to show she has been spayed.

Hootie and Trixie can swap surgery stories now too. He didn't do well with the anesthesia/after surgery pain killer either.

No, she wouldn't have gone to that shelter no matter what. They have no qualifications for adoption that screen out bad adopters and their adoption fee is almost free.
She was either going to the Humane Society for adoption or adoption through the rescue that I foster for.
I was leaning toward the Humane Society when you picked her.

I was surprised that she was still so groggy. When I worked there, they gave them a shot to bring them out of the zone so they could monitor them before they went home. Animals were ready to roll by the time they were released.
I guess that injection was cost cut out of the recovery.

Same with Animal Humane here (city). Carolyn adopted a dog there, was told dog was friendly, good with other dogs and cats. She surrendered the dog back after it killed one of her cats. Her OTHER dog was a foster dog and she got to meet him and learn about him before adoption. He's awesome. I'd decided a long time ago that if I got Hootie a buddy, it would be from a foster.

Foster animals are always the best. They come directly from a foster home where all the kinks are either worked out or identified.
She was just in the bathroom with me and the strainer thingie from the bath tub drain was on the floor where she left it last night. She was looking at it like WTF is that.
She started sneaking up on it and flinging out a paw at it. It would roll a little bit and she would jump back and then sneak up on it again. Trixie is definitely still under the influence.

The Trixlet is doing fine this morning. Back to her self again begging for her canned food.
Last night when I went in to read with them, she was pretty much back on track. All she wanted to do was snuggle with me so I guess I am forgiven for her scary day. I blamed it all on Linda, the transporter.
Her backend was all wet last night so I was a little concerned that her peeing was an issue but when I went into the bathroom, the floor and toilet seat were all wet so I think she might have had a mishap in judging jumping distance and fell into the toilet bowl.
No harm, no foul. It was only water.
