I have never in my life seen a cat with her kittens. I've missed out.  I wonder if it's her first time? |

Since she only had the 2 kittens it is probably her first litter.
She spends most of the time curled up in the nesting box with them, feeding them and keeping them clean. So it's pretty relaxed days for her right now.
I about a week their eyes will open and in a couple of weeks they will start walking (well, actually wobbling) around and then her life gets much busier trying to keep track of them.

Awwwwwwwww, they're beautiful. I hope we get to watch them grow up a bit. Are you fostering or are they an addition to your household?

Mia it is, that is a great name.  Dantes - they are fosters. Black cats don't get adopted out around Halloween and she needed a place to have her kits. So she will be with me for awhile and I will keep posting pics as they grow. Next pics will prob be in about a week when their eyes open and they are cuter. And I need another cat like I need a hold in my head.  |

Went in to spend some time with Mia (the MomKat) and Bitty zoomed in behind me. Mia didn't mind, so while I was brushing her Bitty got in some loving time with the kitten. When it was time to leave she didn't want to let it go.  |

She was sleeping and missed all the fun this time around.
That kitten is going to have a lot of aunties to play with once it starts walking.
I see lots of kitten bowling in it's future.

It happens sometimes, they just aren't right genetically and don't thrive like they should.
Mia was upset for awhile, but has transferred all her attention to the one kitten and he is super fat and sassy.
He is going to be one very spoiled kitten.

MomKat is now called Mia and she is both sweet and gorgeous.
Baby needs a name, so all suggestions are welcome.
He will be 3 weeks early Wed morning and he is already over 12 oz, he is one fat kitty baby.

LOLOL I have seen a lot of kittens and I have never seen one that chubby.

Awww I somehow missed all these updates. I'm sorry about the little black one. This one has such interesting coloring - can't wait to see what it turns into. I had a sweet tiny tabby named Mia.
