I have been catching up on the sleep I missed last night.
I will take pics tomorrow I promise.
Mom is doing great and barely leaves the nest. Kittens are nursing well and have very healthy lungs, both of them yell like crazy.

ok ok ok I finally was able to get some pics Here is Mom and the babies, she has the most beautiful dark gold eyes    The black kitten has a little bit of white on it's lower belly. The other one is a silvery brindle color with a dark head, tail and legs. It's a very interesting color and I can't wait to see how the fur turns out as it grows. |

I've been thinking about that.
But I tend to want to keep the Moms I name, especially if they are black cats.
Licorice would be good, or Morticia.

I think she is waiting till they stop covering themselves in poop. And for awhile there, living was a big question mark for three of them. I think we are out of the woods on that issue so we will work on pictures. These kittens did not arrive in the best of health and pooping issues were right there at the top of the "concerns" list. |

They may be tiny but they both have great sets of lungs.
The minute Mom gets out of the nest they start squalling.
I'm just glad they were born healthy and that Mom had an easy time.

Yep, I think even my tiny one is going to make it.
Thank God for sub-q fluids when you need them.
Of course they hate me because I am either shooting meds down their throat or have their butts under the kitchen faucet.
This has not been an easy foster summer.

Moms a total sweetheart. Soft and fluffy, and ohhh those gorgeous eyes.
She purrs at the drop of a hat and thinks those babies are the best thing since canned tuna.
