We need to rename this board Kritter's Korner.

We got home a little while ago and I just got them settled.
She was in a different carrier than the kittens and they all screamed at the top of their lungs all the way across town. She does appear to be a sweetie.
The rescue had called me about the kittens and I asked about the Mom. She said they were going to tip her ear and TNR her. I told her to call them back and tell them I was on the way to pick up the whole freaking family.
These late Friday afternoon shelter runs across town need to be rescheduled to earlier in the week around noon when there is not freaking Friday afternoon getting off work traffic coming and going.

Awww. How old are the babies? I would think a Siamese would be very adoptable.

Fashion, just a quick look puts them maybe between 5 and 6 weeks.

Animal Control was going to turn them away because the lady didn't have an appointment to surrender an animal. The rescue's contact there got on the phone to her and she wanted to take them but wouldn't have any room until Monday after she got the adoptable kittens out to the Petsmarts over the weekend.
So, she called me.......
And now they are here. And safe.

You shouldn't have any problems at all finding homes for them. Siamese are always in demand.
How's the Momkat?

China is super friendly and is a talker.
The kittens are friendly. Somebody was loving these kittens. They weren't found out in a field or vacant building.

She looks like a sweetie. I can't believe they were just going to tip her ear and release her.
No way are these ferals.
Bless you Kritter

Same thing they were going to do to Tango and her sister.
Its all about looking good in the "no-kill" numbers.
As soon as I heard about the ear tip and TNR, I told the rescue to nail them down. If China had been feral, she could have gone in the cat pen until she got used to the new surroundings.

I think someone needs to call the press or a tv station and let them know exactly what they are doing. It would make a great news segment and animal lovers would be up in arms over how they do things. I doubt that most people know this is happening. They are sending out animals to sure terrible deaths by doing that and euthanasia would be a much kinder alternative.
And I'm not advocating euthanasia, but compared to starving to death or being torn apart by dogs/wild animals it is a better choice.

They're too cute but I thought the momkat was Siamese and her babies were all black? Is this a different kitty family?

This is a different family.
The other family was at the Humane Society and they must have found a foster because they were not reposted today as still needing a place.

I totally agree, Shirley. They are TNRing cats and kittens that don't have a chance at providing themselves with food and water back out on the streets.
There is so much going on here that is wrong in so many ways in regards to the stray animals. It is really sad.

Awww, look at their wittle nosies!
I love the face and chattiness of the Siamese, but I hate how skinny they've bred them to be.

More pics will be coming after I deal with the Tango experience today.
I was in the bathroom with them last night and, of course, no camera and a zillion photo ops. China attempts to scoot out of her area every time I open a door so if Tango goes to her new home today, I will let China go in with prissy pants, Sabrina. She needs to be separated from the kits anyway to stop this nursing stuff.
FTLOG, kittens, you are 6 weeks old and have a mouth full of teeth.
Bliss, those were the shelter pics of the kittens that they sent the rescue. I will get some bigger ones for you.

Squee x 1,000,000. And then some.
I don't know who is cuter, China or the kittens. Excuse me while I check on direct flights from Texas to Philadelphia.

China is a total sweetie. Pretty evident that she was a pet that made the mistake of having kittens after her idiot owner didn't have her spayed.
I don't think she will have an issue around other cats either. She ran through the door with me once last night into the Missy family area and she went directly over by one of the front windows and watched as the curious cats came over to check her out. No hissing or growling, just sat there until I came back through and put her back with the kittens.
She is a talker too but not a Siamese screamer.

Kritter - if there is such a thing as feline reincarnation, then I think you may have Missy back with you....

Ya know, Tabby, I was thinking the very same thing especially after I just posted her pic the other day.
China is every bit as sweet and loving as Missy was.
