I hope my two itty bittys are fighters too.
One of them has already lost her right eye but hopefully we can get their other eyes well.
They are only around 5 weeks old and weight next to nothing.
I am bottle feeding them and I am not known for my skills in that area.

Oh Kritter that is so sad. Bottle feeding is so hard, and with 2 of them you really have your hands full. You are a Kitteh Angel ((((Kritter))))

The degree of difficulty is also raised a couple of notches because these two don't really want the bottle but they don't want to eat out of the bowl either. I am in a power struggle with two baby kittens.

Kittens may be itty, but they can be stubborn as anything.
Hopefully you won't have to resort to syringe feeding, that can be a total messy disaster.

I had to syringe the ittiest one at the last feeding. The other one does pretty good on the bottle.
They need to be eating on their own soon.
Going in for another feeding before bedtime.

LOL I just weighed Jackson. He weighs in at 1.10.
At 2 pounds, he goes in for surgery and then adoption.

How did you get him to hold still to weigh him?
What are they going to do, clean up the shoulder and close it off?

I can't even imagine how adorable a 5 week old kitten would be. I've only seen them 9 weeks and up. Sigh.

Chloe was about 5 weeks when I kitten-napped her from her colony. She was a cute little fluff ball.

Yep, he gets snipped at 2 lbs. because they didn't do it when he had the amputation surgery. The neutering is not so bad because they are only "lights out" for a nano second because the surgery is not as invasive as a spay is.
I would take pics of the 5 week old kittens but their eyes are kinda bad and I don't want to potentially run anybody off that gets queasy.
Shirley, I just plop him on the scale and he stays still long enough for the numbers to come up but not any longer.

Oh good. I was afraid he was going to have more surgery on his leg. I forgot about the snip. I can't get mine to hold still long enough for the scale to get the numbers. Any new pics of Jackson?

Yep, I think I have some Jackson pics on the camera that I haven't downloaded yet. The eye babies are keeping me busy with all their meds and getting them to eat.
I finally threw in the towel on Tanji and he is going to the groomers tomorrow morning. Hopefully that will cut down on all the flying fur around here.

I'm sorely tempted to have my old guy shaved down.
But they would have to sedate him and I really don't want to do that. He won't let anyone but me touch him, not even Les who has sat for him for years. Guess I will have to shave him myself or just deal with his hair.
How's your last Ragdoll doing? Is she getting along with your herd? Any nibbles on adoption?

The last time Tanji went he had to be sedated so unless he is in a better mood this time, I think it will happen again. He won't even let me brush him so clipping him is not going to be allowed. Not only is fur everywhere but he is having major hairball issues and I am sure that is not good for him either.
Sabrina is still here and is a recluse more or less. I let the other cats go in with her during the day. They don't bother her at all but she stays on her cat tree perch like they were circling around her in attack mode. I run them out of that room at night when I go in to read with her. Last night she still stayed on the cat tree even after they were gone.
With all this foster business going on, I haven't done anything about finding an adopter for her.

LOL A lot of stuff is not getting done every day. Right now we are in Priority Mode at this house. As long as everybody is fed, clean, and basic needs taken care of then it has been a good day.

I know that mode well.
Just the basics and anything else is gravy.
Hang in there, they will all grow, get better and go on to their furever homes and you can catch your breath again.

LOL Daisy was trying to groom Jackson but Jackson wanted to play. All the adult cats have now taken to higher ground to escape Jackson.
