OMG that is tiny.
Is she on the bottle or does she eat on her own?
Bless you for taking on such a tiny life, she needs the special love and care that you give. ((((Kritter))))

I pick her up at 3:30 today so will find out what all is going on with her. The rescue didn't have that much info so it will be a go with the flow situation.
Sabrina is at the groomer and not happy at all. I bet Maria has to sedate her but I hope not.
Love you Cinco de Mayo attire, Shirley.
We are having the "Big Give" today for online donations to all the non-profits here. Its a pretty big deal and is widely advertised.

I'm sorry she'd irritated but she does look nice. Your groomer doesn't shave down to total skin. In the pictures, it looks like they leave a thin layer of fur, sort of a down coat look?

Grumpy cat has some serious competition. Best laugh of the day for me. Thank you. Yes, Val, she leaves a soft layer of fur rather than going down to the skin. I think she had a harder time with Sabrina because she is not as neatly done as Savannah. I was really expecting her to have to be sedated. Thank goodness all that freaking hair is gone. I should be able to get some better pics tomorrow after she cools off a bit.

It makes a difference, that layer of fur. Looks much nicer than the down to the raw skin clips.

Sabrina is really flaunting her new "do" now. I definitely think she is more comfortable now that all that hair is gone.
She is not cut very even on her legs but I am sure she did not give the groomer an easy time.
We don't strive for purrfection here at the house so its all good. More pics later.
She wanted to follow me into the other part of the house this morning but when she saw the other cats reclining in the living room, she changed her mind.

I'm sure she's feeling much slimmer, and wants to be out and about to flaunt her new skinny-cat look!

Oh my, thank you, titus. I know one thing for sure. I will have a whole herd of cats waiting for me to cross over the Rainbow Bridge with them. Lots of long ago faces, tiny faces, and very dear faces waiting there.

I like it. She looks so much cooler. And no more hair swirling around the foster bedroom anymore. I can actually feel her body when I pet her now.

Kritter, is she actually as cranky as she looks? Or is that just her normal expression?

LOL No, she is not cranky at all now. She was in the beginning but has pretty well mellowed out. I can touch her without any hissing involved.
We have a Meet & Greet scheduled for this weekend. I am going to open the doors and let the Missy family go into the foster bedroom if they choose to enter at their own risk.

After the initial sniff fest by the Missy family, they kinda wandered off for a nap. Sabrina was on the top of one of the cat trees and watched them like a hawk.
The door has been open today and they have wandered in and out. Lucy slept on the other cat tree most of the afternoon and Sabrina was in her place on the other one.
I guess she is going to take this one baby step at a time.

Update on Savannah....
"My husband discovered today that Savannah likes COLD water! She kept drinking out of his mug so he just poured some in her water dish. She went right over and started drinking from her dish!! I also gave her a new food today ~ Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and YES, that’s now her new fav. Such a diva!!"

She still doesn't socialize much with the other cats there but the house is so freaking big that passing like ships in the nights seems to be the normal there. She has her own area carved out and it seems to work for all concerned. She turned her nose up at canned food here. Remember my canned food buffet fail.

Oh yeah, the infamous failed buffet. In your defense she was new at your house and wouldn't have been happy with anything.

Clearly you weren't catering to her elite tastes. Tuna? Turkey? A buffet? Hrrrmph. She'll have filet mignon served by the butler thankyouverymuch.

And we took a major step here tonight in possibly the right direction. I was in the den on the computer and heard all this hissing going on in the kitchen which is just on the other side of the bar. The Missy family never hiss at each other. There may be a disgruntled growl every now and then but never a hiss. Sabrina is a hisser; I have never heard her growl. I glanced in the living room and there was Sabrina on her way back to the foster bedroom. I have been leaving all the doors open during the day but this is probably the first time she ventured out. This just might work out after all.

Well, after 4 months here it looks like Sabrina may have had a major break through tonight. I was sitting at my computer in the den listing a sweater and out of the corner of my eye, I see Sabrina sitting on the coffee table. I had to do a double take.
After a few minutes, she jumps down, takes another tour of the area, scratches on their turbo track, comes twirling by my chair again, and heads back to the foster bedroom.
She had skulked around once before for a minute or two but she was strutting tonight.
