We can rename them for here but the Humane Society won't change their names there. they already have their records etc. set up with the names that they gave them.
Their names are Nigel (I like that name), Dory, Coral, Marlin, Squirt, and Bubbles.

The two buff ones are Nigel and Bubbles.
The tabby is Squirt.
The gray/orange dilute calico is Coral.
The other two are both labeled as orange/black but one of them is orange so I will have to check privates.
They are in the bathroom right bnow so I will check privates when I bring them back into their cages in the den this evening.

The dark orange one is a boy so that must be Marlin.
So the black/orange is Dory.

I think these six newbies need their own thread. With new photos of course.

No, Sabrina hasn't met them yet. They have been spending their time between the cages in the den and the bathroom. The Missy family is totally ignoring them when they are in the den. Really weird because usually they are hissing at the kittens or Daisy is trying to stick her feet into the cage to grab their wet food. Now, none of them are even hanging out in the den when the kittens are there. Wonder if they know something that I don't. Tabby, you made me laugh with your post but I was not surprised.

Uh oh, maybe they know the Sixlets are going to be Thuglets and they want nothing to do with them.
They can be holy terrors at that age.

With six of them in the group, trouble at 6 weeks old is a certainty. Right now they are just learning what toys are for and are starting to play with each other.

Well, you DID say NO KITTENS. Maybe the Missy Family remembers you saying that.

I think you may be right, Val.
They are definitely picketing the den. Gracie always sleeps in the den and she has sought other accommodations.
This household is not a democracy and no bowing to the will of the majority.
I might need to remind them all that not only were they kittens at one time but they also were fosters here so they might want to make an attitude adjustment.

Try a kinder gentler way first - pity. Tell them you told the foster you'd take kittens in an emergency only, if no other fosters were available. Then add the "you were kittens and fosters once too, you don't want kittens let loose to get hit by cars or worse, do you?"
Can't hurt.

A Christmas email from Savannah and her Mom.... "Good morning from both of us!! Just to let you know she’s still doing well and currently sitting in front of me on my desk! If my hubby’s in his office, then she’s in there on his desk doing the typical cat things of knocking stuff off the desk! We just wanted to wish you and Sabrina a Merry Christmas and hope all is well! Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!" Another cat that lucked out with a terrific home.

Another email from Savannah's Mom....
"Just emailing to say Hi!
Savannah’s been acting like a kitten lately, maybe because she got a summer cut and all that hair is gone? She’s also moved her “camp” to our bed during the day and then is snuggled up to my back when I awaken. Our bedroom is where Jiffy resides & they seem to get along and not have territory skirmishes. She continues to eat well and voice her opinions! She also butts my forehead for lovin’!
How’s everyone at your house?
♪It’s summertime, summertime, sum sum summertime ♫♪"
