OMG- I missed all of this last night! I was just listing like a good girl and was honestly eating a bowl of popcorn.
Carry on.....

I don't have any big issues with anyone and I plan to continue to be a part of both groups but won't allow myself to get sucked into any drama. Things seem so hostile over there right now, it's sad.

Me too. I like people on both boards and have my own issues to deal with.
I really don't want to spend my entire day posting on the boards as others seem to do. I will never get caught up with listing, so maybe that is a good thing.

I can't list!! I have to read the boards.
Sadly, I belong to multiple groups and they can be a huge time suck!

It saddens me that such discord has taken place. I really didn't have a problem with anyone, but the TW and undisclosed changes to the board over there made me very leery. Actually the TW disturbed me immensely because of the way everyone jumped on the mistaken assumption that this board was some mean girls club. I'm not abandoning it yet, after all there is still the stunner Dunner challenge to do, for which I have already found my entry, but just as I did not keep going back to the ebay board, I don't see myself continuing on both boards. There are those I will miss, especially Thrifty and Brian-I, but maybe sometime in the future, they will be able to join us.

That wasn't so bad, Denise. In fact, pretty mild, actually.

Delete away. The delete option is on the round gear looking icon in the top right corner of your post.

So now I know who is really watching this group and reporting to the other one.

What a mess, the more it's discussed the worse it gets I wish everyone could agree to disagree and get back to business as usual. It's flattering to no one and no one is right or wrong and it keeps going in circles like The Song that Never Ends.

My little dot is still a part of that group (I've grown fond of the little thing). They can have it now as my name and email are gone. I'm not going to say anything again over there. Point was made.
Since this is in the open - I will say, the Mean Girl stuff should end because the characterization is silly. Val, Shirley, NYC, and everyone else has been nothing but nice. I don't care who reads this either. I have a 17 year old daughter and we've watched Mean Girls. She deals with them at High School. They're miserable. No one here is in that category. And I don't think anyone over there is in that category either.
I think everyone should just have a margarita. Extra salt and lime please.

Looks like I am late to the party again. Kevin is saying you will be able to delete again soon. I find the idea that someone can & will take your option to delete your membership and change your posts away unsettling. I'm not gonna blow up over there, just wait until I can silently slip away.
Kinda makes me feel sad for the fun times there.

Heck - with all the Winter stuff going on - we should just head South of the border and have a margarita in Mexico. And Cuervo is so overrated.

Near San Tan there's a place called Blue Wasabi, it's a Sushi/Martini bar and you are all making me want to drop what I'm doing and rush there. Some of those drinks have sugared rims and some have jello dipped rims and some have carmel dipped rims. Milky Way martini is my favorite. here is the drink menu and if you're bored check out the food menu, some of the names are really funny. locu.com/places/blue-wasabi-gilbert-us/#menu

Come here.
I am within spitting distance of the border and you won't need a current passport.

Carmel dipped rims? Candy and alcohol? Deadly.

Carmel dipped rims? Candy and alcohol? Deadly. Oh, that sounds soooo good! A friend turned me on to Hot Apple Cider & Butterscotch Schnapps. Any proportion you want is great & no matter how much alcohol you use, it still just tastes like candy

Their drinks are deadly... they go down way too fast and easy.
Hot Apple Cider & Butterscotch Schnapps.... that sounds yummy Zoe. I'll have to remember that one.

Hot Apple Cider & Butterscotch Schnapps.... that sounds yummy Zoe. I'll have to remember that one. Come to think of it, it doesn't have to be hot...I've had it at the hot springs & she just brought it in a big plastic jar, so it was room temp.

Heck, who needs a margarita? Or even a glass. Tequila right out of the bottle works just fine.
