Shirley, we are in the low 80s here thru Saturday and windows are all open. Sunday we are back down to the 60s and 50s for the rest of the year.
Yep, somebody just left her at my front door in the dark of night.

Sheesh I am jealous. It was 65 here today and I thought that was super nice for December.

I cut back bougainvillea in the back yard today. Got maybe 1/2 way done and will try an get the rest tamed tomorrow.
Didn't cut them down to the ground but trimmed back and thinned out what I could.
I wish we could just skate through the rest of the winter in the low 80s but doubt that is going to happen so I will enjoy it while I can. Going to fire up the grill tomorrow and cook my ribs and chicken.

If she looked at me with that face she's wearing in the last pic I'd spoil her to bits. Roy, in a few months you can have your pick of kittens, so you should spend the winter preparing yourself mentally. Because you KNOW you're going to give in, don't you?

I am going to take her into the foster bedroom tonight when I read with Sabrina. Not to spend the night but just for a visit. She finally acts like she feels better and is becoming more active about wanting out of the cage.

Well, we don't know that for sure.
Sabrina may have decided to close her finishing school for the Christmas holidays.

I think she may act all put out, but her cold heart was thawed out an she won't be able to resist Trixie.

Sabrina must have closed her school for the holidays because she wasn't having anything to do with Trixie.
Trixie and I were laying on the couch reading when Sabrina came down from her tote tower and laid in her place on the back of the couch. After checking her out for a minute or two, Trixie climbed up on the back of the couch and laid down beside Sabrina.
Sabrina proceeded to give her a couple of giant hisses and Trixie slid right down the back of the couch and back on top of me. Both went to sleep without any further interaction.
We will try again tonight.

At least Sabrina didn't go off in a huff. Give her a bit of time.

I'm with Titus on this one. Give her a chance - and don't forget the magic power of kittens!
I love how the kitten always makes the first advance to the big cat. So brave. Or stupid, lol.

I let Trixie out with the Missy family this morning and she was having a blast on the trackball. If I had a smartphone, I could have done a video.

Kittens always seem to get the knack of it real fast.
Glad she is having some fun. Daisy and Lucy will keep her in line if she starts to act up.

She might really like going to Costco and Walmart. And imagine all the sniffing she could do at the thrift! Cat paradise! You could borrow one of Shirley's 400 vests and stuff her down the front.

Yep, that's what big pockets are for, you stuff them full of kittens and just go on with your day.

LOL Trixie would really love that outfit.
Being an only, she is getting to be kinda needy when she is out of her cage. The Missy family pretty well ignores her so she wants to be sitting on my shoulder all the time. She is too big for kitten bowling so they have no use for a kitten now.
I thought about going over to the city shelter and pulling a kitten around her same age but am afraid of how many others that I would pull once I saw them all.
So, she is going to just have to earn to occupy herself when I am not available.

But you know you want to. Might be nice to have some healthy ones for a change, instead of the sickos you had all season. Fat healthy kittens romping around and learning trackball, rolling and playing and being cute!

I may want to but I am not going to.
She is at that stage where she is way too brave for her own good. The "I may be tiny but I am not afraid of anything" age where she has to be rescued from herself.
