So what's my Tobes doing now? After the toy basket he must have needed a nap in his litter box, maybe a snack?

I can't keep stuff on my nightstand. I had to put a heavy drawer unit on top of it to put things in cause they kept batting stuff to the floor.
Makes it heck in the middle of the night when you need your glasses.
Little debils!

I love how they carefully push something off a table with little bats of their paw, then look down at it on the floor very seriously, like it's a science experiment. Then they look at YOU. That's how they train you.

Lil Tobes has been giving Blind Lucy a run for her money this morning just like Jackson did. He had Lucy trapped behind the kitchen garbage can. No matter which way Lucy went, Toby would jump out at her.
I need the Kritterkam.

What he is doing is so hard to describe for your full enjoyment.
I have a new rug in the living room and the Missy family apparently feel like they need to anchor it down. Toby is jumping around in front of each of them and then sidestepping off to the next cat. They are looking at him like he has flipped his switch.
One of the older girls is going to snatch him baldheaded any minute now.

I need to work on this Kritterkam before next kitten season.
Or maybe just get a camera that takes videos.
ETA: Just looked at my camera and it does take video. May have to see if I can make it work.

Older cats just do not fully appreciate the energy and enthusiasm of kittens.

My older girls, Gracie and Dori, are both cranky pants anyway. They don't like any of the others and especially hate each other.
Toby would be wise to hang with Lucy and Daisy as they are the kitten bowlers and seem to be more tolerant of kitten shenanigans.

Toby walks around with this ball growling the whole time even when none of the others are even in the same room.

Is that Lucy "playing" with him?

Yes, that is Lucy. I think she was putting him in his place rather than playing.
He had been following her around and jumping at her back legs like Jackson used to do.

Toby better watch out.
Lucy may be blind but she can see past any possible kitten tricks.
He certainly has made himself right at home. It's great to see him so active, he is a very lucky boy.

He's so small! I didn't even see him in the Lucy pic until I looked a second time. So gorgeous. <sigh>

I think Toby might enjoy a plane ride and a new home in Philadelphia.

And I think I should deliver him to Philadelphia before the cold wind blows. I have been in that city in the winter and have no desire to go back when the snow flies.

Tabby, great crop of that pic. I am going to use it when I post on the rescue's website later today. I am going to post a little note from Toby saying that right now I am in foster but am ready for adoption.
I am hoping to get him preadopted so he won't have to sit in a cage at Petsmart.

I think Toby might enjoy a plane ride and a new home in Philadelphia. He might, but I'm sure he'd love it much more here with the warmer weather coming on. And in true ebay spirit I demand free shipping!

Love the pic with Lucy's raised paw, it's like she she's giving him a good scolding.

Yeah, I know, Val, strict quarantine means no foreign kitties for me.
Unless Kritter wrapped him in plain brown paper and sent him first class...but you'd never lie on the customs form, would you, Kritter? You'd write "adorable grey kitteh to be loved furever".
