Here at UW Husky stadium for the Oregon Ducks game - two undeafeted teams and the place is packed. It's so loud the announcer is having g to yell. 75,000+ fans.

Huskies pulled it off but it was close and down to the wire. The announcer finally lost his voice. Husky fans flooded the field by the thousands- it was like a tide. The field staff just let them go and the Seattle police bike squad guarded the goal post before the fans tore it down. When we left there was a rave going. Huge game with a decades long rivalry. Man, I'm exhausted and hoarse.

Whose house? DAWG HOUSE! Huskies lol. It was called one of the great games of Huskydom. The Ducks really came to play and brought a great game with tricky plays and lots of heart. The DH said the game was so good it was a shame someone had to lose. I fist bumped the Ducks in front of us and said the game would not have been so great if the Ducks hadn't been so good. They were trying for a field goal in the last minute of the game to tie the score and send it into overtime. The Huskies were damned and determined to stop them - it went right down to the wire. Ran my half marathon race today. After two nights of poor sleep I began struggling at mile 8 and it took until mile 11 to recover, and I had to do a lot of walking during that bit, hustling along as fast as I could - I finally pulled myself together, picked up speed and came in second in my division. I've been putting more time into being more consistent, though being in the over 70 division helps - there are still a surprising number of people in that division, though, and some are really fast. The schwag was great - really nice finisher jackets with hoods for the half marathon and marathon runners (they also had a 5k and a 10k which was very popular) and a beautiful medal. The run was through an historic town and out into the countryside.
