IIRC from something Kritter told me about Trixie's arrival, kittens can't take the cold like adult cats because kittens can't regulate their body temperature. Or something like that. So that might be why what isn't cold to us, IS cold to a kitten.

40 degrees is pretty cold to me too.
Val is right. Kittens cannot regulate their body temperature plus these kittens have been raised in a warm environment in their foster homes so they are even less acclimated to cold. We would rather not take any chances with any kittens.
The flight that they travel on (Only one from here to there that is non stop) arrives after dark and the temp was in low 40s then.
