Well, she better get over it because Toby is here to stay. Fortunately he just looks at her and does a kitty shrug and goes the other way. He's pretty chill. He's a klutz too, LOL! Toby got his klutz lessons from Yogi who is the king of klutz.
Toby has dealt with diva female cats since small kitten times so Trix's tantrums just roll off his tail. No big deal.

I love hearing cat tales! Miss having a back-yard cat since Pancake had to be put down last year. I used to love when they would walk over to me (sometimes they even trotted) as I got out of my car and went to the back door. It's so lonesome now when it's just me and my keys heading to the back stoop. Can't have any indoor cats due to my allergies Good luck with your new kitty family Val, sounds like you're in for a few adventures.

They must have worked it out today while I was at work. They were lying on the floor on either side of the kitchen doorway while I unloaded groceries this evening. Hopefully Trixie will be chill at bedtime because I'm giving both of them free roaming of the house.

Good job, Trix and Toby.
I guess Trix thought she needed to guard the house and you against Toby. Once you were out of the way, Toby could use his charm to show Trix that all her shock and awe wasn't the least bit necessary.
Time for fun and games.

The fun and games were in full force at 4:30 a.m. this morning. They were both banished from the bedroom when they decided to gang up on my feet

Toby and I have started with the "Proper Office Etiquette" classes this morning. He's a fast learner.
Of course, a spray from the water bottle does tend to hasten a cat's learning...

Have they erupted into hissing and paw-throwing matches on your stomach yet? It really, um, lights up the night.

YAY!!! My 2 fosters from years apart meet in the same place.
This time last week Toby and I were just fastening seat belts ready to land in Phoenix.

Yes, I definitely do. Especially for the greatest plan ever for Trix and Toby.
They couldn't have found a better home.
Now I need to get going on finding Murphy his home.

I saved the best for last. This was about 30 minutes ago. Trixie and Hootie never did this:

I had both Trix and Toby from small kitten times and they were always cuddled and groomed by the older Missy family cats. Hootie may not have had that experience as a kitten plus he was used to his space as an older cat. Both of them as well as other kitten fosters were sleeping buddies with Daisy so they are used to togetherness. Daisy seems to be the nurturer of the family with help from Lucy. I think once they have that feline togetherness experience from kitten times they tend to gravitate to it as they grow older. I can see that with the Missy family. They were all kitten fosters with me or in a foster situation with other cats while Kenya and Gracie are single cats and want nothing to do with other cats at all.

Your little grey tiger and your black panther have finally bonded. I love happy endings.

Trixie still won't let him on the pillow on the office desk, but he seems to prefer the cooler desktop behind my laptop so all is well there. I moved the cat tree in to the dining room by the window, where they can still see a view. I got tired of the 3:00 a.m. flying leaps onto the bed
