Thanks, Jelly. Sabrina had developed a health issue but it looked like we had it under control.
She went quickly and definitely unexpectedly so no clue what caused her passing.

I'm sorry to hear about Sabrina. It's always so d@mn heartbreaking to loose a furbaby. It just hurts.
So does *Trixie's new brother* have a name? Or will he always be... Trixie's bro.
He is absolutely adorable.

Thank you, Dantes.
Trixie's brother is named Toby for now but I told Val she could change it if she wanted another name.
Toby is a cutie and is totally fearless. Has no problem challenging Dori who is the grouch of the family. He keeps the big cats on their toes.

Toby is adorable! Congrats!
And kritter I'm so sorry to hear about Sabrina. You gave her a wonderful life, as much as she resisted it.

Sabrina may not have thought it was the best life but it was never boring.

Squee x 1000! Toby is very special. We can still see his stripes/spots. I wonder if he'll retain that coloring or if it will blend into solid black.

His hair is also tipped with white at the very ends and he has white ear hair.
So far he still has that striped thing going on.

Toby looks so innocent! Not at all like he's making plans to give Trixie some serious competition for "top cat" position....
Looks to me like he's trying out Kitteh Kubic Kapacity 101: How to Utilise Maximum Space When Others Want It.

Thanks, Unknown.
Toby is going to give Trixster a run for her money when he gets there. He has 6 cats to heckle here so his energy is spread out but Trix will get the full focus.

Tanji, the orange one, is pretty much a loner and isn't interested in cuddling with the other cats. I think Toby is going to try and change Tanji's mind.

That's a pretty cool table. Love the painted decoration on top.
Sometimes the cuteness is so overwhelming resistance is futile. But kritter, why does Toby appear to have nipples in that photo?

From Google.....
Nipples serve a purpose on a female cat; she uses them to nurse her young. Male kittens don't produce milk, but they still have nipples. Most male mammals share the trait, which can make it hard to tell males and females apart when they're babies.

Rusty has them as did all our male cats. It's like humans - guys have them too.
Tanji looks just like my Rusty - same attitude too - like don't bother me.

Tanji definitely marches to his own drummer. He was a foster here in small kitten times with his two siblings so he grew up with the Missy family. When he first came, he had one of his front legs just hanging on by skin after he got caught in a fan belt. His leg had an ace bandage wrapped around it to keep it together until his vet appointment the next morning. I stayed up all night watching him to make sure he didn't die on me. He was only 4 weeks old and a tiny lump of hair.
He was adopted but the the adopter failed so he came back into foster to recover. When he was healthy again, I decided that he was staying here. I couldn't take him back and leave him to take a second chance at adoption.
He is not mean or anything to the other cats but is just a loner. He is a talker when he wants something but other than that just hangs in the background.

I never noticed them on any of my male cats. Maybe their fur covered them better. But I really didn't notice them on the females either.

Toby and Dixie on bug patrol at the windows in the den. Dixie is going to miss her partner when he goes to Phoenix. Dixie is blind but her ears hear the fluttering of wings.
Two more fosters coming tomorrow. The Missy family has mixed feelings about seeing the cages out on the coffee table.

Toby was picked up this morning for his neuter and retest for FIV.
The Missy family was glad to see him out the door as they fasted over night with him.

What a cutie! Love the one white whisker-pad. Kritter is a wiz at de-feraling those little ones. I hope that Murphy will turn out to be the perfect addition to your family, Val.

The two latest, Murphy and Milo, were right off the street feral. Milo, the gray one in Val's pic, came around fairly fast but Murphy has been a challenge. He still isn't sure whether to completely trust but is really trying.
You can't see them in the pic but he has long white whisker eyebrows and bushy white whiskers

The spot under the chin just says PET ME HERE! So cute I wish I lived near you so I could come help with the kitties, I am so allergic but I would still cuddle and love all over them, then take meds and a shower, lol.
