through eBay's message system to ship to another address? I just replied 'no' to a buyer who asked me to do this. But then I thought if I had her message saved where she asked me to do this, she couldn't say she didn't get it if tracking showed it as delivered. Would this be correct? What would you do?

I have only had that happen a couple of times and they were low priced items so I shipped to the address that she asked for. I looked at her feedback given which showed no red flags flying so I took the risk. Everything worked out fine both times.
If it was a high dollar item, I would probably refund her, ask her to include the correct shipping address in Paypal, and then pay again.
But for under $20, I was willing to take the chance.

I just do it, if it's for a regular item, nothing unusual abt the tx or buyer. I have no idea if you're covered. I don't worry about it for the run of the mill item.

I don't have a concrete answer, but I do it all the time. I have never run into a problem. I actually just did it about 2 weeks ago and on top of getting great feedback--the buyer also messages me separately and thanked me.
