I guess they are trying all new ideas with the same ole same ole flavor. I'm not sure what the catch is or how it is really different then what they do now, except the one week processing time. Thoughts?

I know they started an upscale service too. I don't think this is the same program.
Maybe it is?
In the meantime how about processing the 4 bags that I already sent them? They're just sitting there.

I don't think this is the same as the upscale service.
My take is that they don't want you to send the stuff that you have been sending because they have to reject a lot of it so they are wanting you to focus on sending them "more accessories (handbags & shoes), plus & maternity, designer labels, AND
fewer items in smaller sizes (XXS, XS, Small, Size 00, Size 0 etc), pants & skirts."
Apparently they think you are buying items to flip on their site and they want to narrow your buying focus to those things that they identified.

Yes, they want you to send more of the stuff they CAN sell and profit hugely from, and less of what they have to take their time to sort through and eventually reject, costing them man hours. In other words, pick for them at pennies on the dollar. Sorry to be so cynical, but their payouts have been getting lower and lower.
That's not to say I wouldn't do it though! Good luck with it.

Dear Stephanie, What makes you think we want the turds that you can't unload on ebay? Just because you paid good money for them doesn't mean that we are going to make the same mistake.
Attached please find a list of your local Goodwills and Salvation Army stores. Do not hesitate to use their drop off locations to dump your crap on them.

Dear Thredup, I know where all the local Goodwills and Salvation Armies are. Where do you think I bought these turds in the first place? In order to just save time and aggravation, take that crap out to your driveway and set them on fire. A good time to complete this task would be on 8/21 when all eyes will be focused on the sky. Be sure to have a water hose handy for safety.
Use this as a learning lesson and don't make the same mistakes again because we are not your partner in crime when it comes to mitigating your bad judgement.
