This is the future. They acquired Grand Junction to help them offer same day delivery. They are competing directly with Amazon and Walmart.
I'm not sure which retail store (outside of shipping) that offered same day delivery first. I think Amazon was the one to give it widespread appeal.
I wonder if ebay is contemplating warehouses like Amazon.
