I set up a new selling ID with really cheap prices for some stuff I just want to get rid of. I was wondering if there is a way to move the pictures from a listing in my main ID to a new listing on my other ID. I don't have them saved anywhere on my computer. Would I have to re-take all the pics? Thanks!

Open the listing. Click on the photos to get the enlarged view. Right click and save to your computer. Upload them from your computer to the new listing.

Didn't work. I'm probably doing something wrong.

You don't have the listings saved or you don't have the photos saved?

I don't have the photos saved on my computer. I was trying to figure out if I could save the photos from a listing and add them to a new listing on another ID rather than take all new pics..

Ughh, never mind. I do it all the time, but I use Turbolister to txfr the listings from 1 ID to another. If you have TL you can easily do it, but I can't think of a way to do it without TL.
There probably is a way with FTP, but it would be complicated & technical & IIRC, you're not techie. You can still download TL, but if you don't have it, I'm not sure going through that trouble would be worth it.

LOL Definitely not a techie (just ask DD!) It will probably be easier and faster for me to just retake the pics! But thank you anyway.

sunsetpainter - you can also drag them from the enlarged view and drop them in a folder - be sure to rename them as when you copy them they all have the same name.

Wow! Had no idea I could do this. Sure would've saved me alot of time when I took all my men's clothes out of my store and put them on my 2nd ID. But, at least I know now.
Thanks for the question sunset and thanks Chap - I did it the way you suggested (dragging) and it worked.

Didn't work. I'm probably doing something wrong. Are you actually opening up the photo into its own enlarged window? As in click on it so it looks like this: If you're just right clicking the biggest picture on the eBay screen you will not get the copy image option.

I'm still doing something wrong. I opened the listing photos in the enlarged version and clicked "copy image" and pasted to a document, then saved it into a folder. When I try to use them in a new listing I get this: (I even had to take a pic of the screen because when I saved it as a snip, I couldn't insert it here.) I wish I had a tutor or something. DD knows some stuff but doesn't do a lot with photos on the computer.

Sunset, once you open it in the enlarged version, don't click "copy" or "copy image". You need to click "save" or "save as"
You can then save them right on your desktop or if you have too many of them make a new desktop folder to put them in.

Yes, if you're bringing into a document you are either saving the entire thing as a .doc or .pub or if you are right clicking and only saving the photo out of the document then you are picking the wrong format. It needs to be a .jpg or whatever else it says is supported but really it is an extra step over just using "save image as"
