No more futzing with the phone app if you don't want to. Log into your Poshmark account on your computer. Go to your cell, and log into the app (using same log in). Go back to the computer and click on "sell on Poshmark" and it will now bring up an item entry screen. Cool.

Does anyone know if Poshmark penalizes you if you cancel a sale? As in, it sells on eBay and then on Posh before you can cancel the Posh listing?

In the IT world that's called "growing up into a web application."

I forgot I had signed up for Poshmark, probably last year sometime. Just logged in there and found I have 30 followers! I don't even have anything listed there.

Does Poshmark take any brands? Or just higher end things?

They take anything as far as I can tell.

Does Poshmark take any brands? Or just higher end things? You can try and sell anything. Unfortunately it's another saturated site and the buyers are cheaper than on Ebay, in general. They all want to do offers. My first sale there was a straight up sale. The rest were offers.

I think it was Poshmark where Betty BB got so fed up - someone was yabbering and dickering on a $5 item. I'm amazed she had as much patience as she did.

stylaphilemag.com/poshmark/Interesting blog and reader comments about Poshmark. Not saying all experiences are bad, but it is interesting reading.

Eh...I listed 5 items there...wait, 4 listings, they count your profile as a 'listing'.
I just read that - it was an interesting and worthwhile read as a warning of potential pitfalls, but if she thinks none of that is going to happen on her own site, she's got another think coming. Selling online isn't for the fainthearted. She will have a tiny bit more control of some of those aspects but will be spending at least as much time in advertisement. She *will* be able to control how much she interacts with the time wasters, though.

She posted that blog over a year ago. Looks like her site is doing pretty well.

stylaphilemag.com/poshmark/Interesting blog and reader comments about Poshmark. Not saying all experiences are bad, but it is interesting reading. Her complaints are pretty much the same ones I've had ( with a tweak here or there)selling on Ebay for 15 years and I'm still there. I don't believe someone would stop selling over a 25$ top that she got back. You got to be much tougher than that to make it or attempt to make in the second hand clothing market.

She also had a serious problem with time apportionment. It was probably better for her to start her own site - she has a lot of followers that she can bring over and it was probably time. Sometimes people get sick and tired of something and they'll use any excuse to move on, when actually they don't need one at all.
Still, her observations and experiences were worth reading, if only to avoid the same mistakes (or be aware that some things can happen).
