Does anyone else here sell on Bonanza?
I sell maybe 3 or 4 items a year on there so I don't really pay that much attention to the whole thing. Yesterday I sold something for $100 and when I went to print the shipping label this morning I noticed they charged a 19% fee on the transaction ($20.91). Does that sound right? It seems awfully high. I guess I should pay more attention to how it works. I also discovered I could use tokens to lower the bill so I got it down to $9.91. Need to read how it all works.

I tried Bonanza and didn't sell anything for months and months so closed my booth.

Yeah. I know. I don't put any effort into it anymore because it's not worth it. I just let them upload the listings from eBay and then if I get an offer on something I have to approve it first so I have time to delete it from eBay.

It's a good place to get more eyes to your items and that never hurts.

I'm importing all my listings over there now. I suppose it can't hurt. I'm curious tho why it's trying to import 2300 items when I only have a little over 800 listed. I have told it not to import anything other than currently listed, so not sure what it's bringing over. Could be a mess, but oh well.

That FVF seems awfully high. You must have signed up for the higherFVF for more exposure. I just sold an item that was $46.55 including shipping, and the FVF was $1.48.

There is a 19% option for FVF that you must be signed up for. Go to: www.bonanza.com/selling_dashboardClick on Advertising, then on Broadcaster. Then it will show you what level you are on. You can change it from there. Seems a little ridiculous to me, especially the 30% level. I'm currently on the 9%.

Thanks for explaining that Jeremy. It looks like I was on 19%. It sounded like a good idea when I did it and it gave me a lot of views, but hardly any sales. Yesterday they took a $25 fee from a sale that was around $130. Crazy. I just dropped it back to 9%.
