Yesterday I signed up for Promoted Listings on Etsy. Would someone please explain what "impressions" are? Thanks!

I believe it's when your item comes up in search, views are when someone actually clicks into it.

So an impression is when my item comes up in a search with one of my keywords/tags, correct? And a click is when someone actually clicks on my listing to look at that item? And I only pay the fee if someone actually clicks on the listing? Am I understanding this correctly? (Sorry if I'm being dense  ) |

That's my deduction - I know with Google ads, which I use, they sort the impressions from actual views so you just pay for the actual views, not for when the search just includes your keywords.
