in my town but it was mailed to the buyer yesterday, there are 2 packages that were mailed yesterday that show this in tracking. I've heard of others having this problem before but I don't recall what the outcome usually is. I checked and double checked, there were NO ERRORS made on my end. Ugh... I'm having a serious unlucky streak.
Oh and this was brought to my attention by the buyer.

USPS is messed up all around. Hopefully they straighten it out for you ~ it will reset to "in transit" when it get scanned at the next sorting station, right?

I hope so, I found 4 more that say "out for delivery" so I called my main po. He said that by tomorrow morning they will hopefully update with the correct location.

As of this morning none of the packages have not been updated. I hope I don't have to end up refunding 5 buyers about $250

That sucks.
Did you mail them from your zip code? Or did you mail them from a different zip? Not sure if you're aware, and, the only reason I ask is b/c the PO is now sending packages back to the "origin" zip code if mailed from another zip. Like, I used to ship things from my office and they'd just go on their way. Now, if I don't edit the "ship from" zip, and, mail them from my office they're delivered to my local PO before heading out for processing....

If a buyer says it wasn't delivered and the status doesn't update (and sometimes it does not when it's scanned wrong at pickup), your post office can go online on their system and give you an updated status. One by my office even gives me a printout showing delivery, although I haven't needed it yet (honest buyers).

This has happened to me a few times in the last two months. Eventually it was scanned delivered but it took a few extra days. I now have a package that I mailed from my own post office and it is being rerouted through other post offices in the area. If I don't see it on its way by Monday then I will go in and ask them to check their tracking.
Good luck, but I wouldn't worry yet.

They were mailed from my zip code at the my main po.
I'm trying to not worry about it, the fact that it's 6 packages now instead of 1 is causing extra angst. It also annoys me that from a buyers perspective it looks like I made a mistake and don't know what I'm doing. So far only 1 person has said something. Hopefully by Monday the tracking will show something other than "status not updated".

That "status not updated" feels like a knife in my heart when I see it.

Member back in the day when buyers didn't think it was tracking? And they'd only check status if it had been like a week since it had been shipped and hadn't been delivered yet? Man, those were the days.

Where are you located Digital?
Just curious as I ship from other zips usually once/week & I haven't seen it yet.

I'm in Portland. It's been going on since before Christmas. I actually took a couple of packages to the main PO at the airport right before the holidays. It used to be that I could drop them at the main PO & they'd scan them in and load onto a plane and get delivered faster. These packages went from the airport, back to my PO (like 25 minutes away), got scanned in at my PO and then went back to the airport PO to get loaded on the plane. There was no notice about it or anything. Let me see if I can find one of the packages to show what it looks like. I honestly only found out about it b/c one of the packages was a replacement Christmas gift for a friend, the first package was stolen off her front porch, and I wanted to make sure the second one wasn't

So, 97218 is the airport zip & 97062 is my zip..but it's weird b/c it's not showing the original scan in at the airport. So it looks like I shipped it from my PO which I did not

I've been getting that "Accepted at USPS Origin Sort Facility" and i wasn't sure what it meant. I don't notice any delays though.
