Has anybody logged into Etsy lately? I swear my manage my shop page was normal yesterday. Well, today it looks like a parody of the eBay hub page. I'm not sure I'm in the mood to deal with this tho I was gonna start the day listing some tees into my shop. UGH... why??!!

It's a real mess, isn't it? Tried to cram everything on one page and it's TMI in your face. THREE scroll bars? Really? I loved their previous clean style - if you need to check something, just click into it.
What I *don't* miss is all the red negative numbers showing me how much my shop is sinking compared to last year.
Oh - and the listing manager - side bars on both sides - bad organization, Etsy, you don't fence off and crowd active real estate like that. When you DO list, you can at least shrink the left side bar and the right one disappears so that's still pretty clean.
Having the messages inside the dashboard isn't a bad idea - sometimes I miss them when they were up in a second section.
All that ORANGE.

I finally turned the dayum thing off and went back to old tools - I can't even find a way to navigate to my shop on that new dashboard - did they forget that??

Just got home so looked at my email and just got this, et tu, ebay?

On my page, on the left hand side (Under Shop Manager section), if you scroll all the way to the bottom you can click on "Use Old Seller Tools". I haven't tried it yet but I think that may be how to get it back to the way it was.

That's what I did, sunsetpainter It will return it to the old format, but I'm not sure for how long. I've been using the new listing 'tool' in eBay for some time now - they finally fixed all of the stuff that was wrong with it and it works quite well. I use the templates function but have always been able to upload photos in the background, even in the old SYI. One BIG caveat - the drag and drop photo upload isn't very good and tends to crash the page unless you drag them over very carefully. If there's a delay at ALL in the streaming, it locks up the page. I have to click through and just upload directly from my library, which is OK. |

chapeaunoirYour shop is now a "channel", whatever the heck that is, and it's on the left side of the page under "Shop Manager" and then under "Sales Channels". I have two channels, one is my store and the other is that Etsy Studio thing because I have some things they list as supplies. Do they really pay people to mess things up this badly?

Oh no, not another new improvement on eBay too?! They're all killin' me with their "innovations". I love what they said about faster listing leading to more sales... right guys. A better search engine & more buyers will improve sales, not speed on my front end. Go ahead & pull my other leg, lol. I guess the Etsy selling manager is being rolled out over this month cause it's on one of my stores but not the other one I checked. Chap, from what I read on their forums you can only go back to the previous version for one day. Have I mentioned before that I hate changes? Totally messes with my head wrecking my listing mojo. But what does not kill us makes us stronger; resistance is futile... it is what it is. Did I miss any?  SaveSave |

Weird- I just noticed I suffer from the "save save" thing too but the words are white on white background. My laptop is at an angle or the light is right so I just saw that. Odd.
ETA- and it's not on this post. Wonder if it's because I used the quote feature previously?

At least they put my correct town back in. For about a month or so, they had me listed as being from The Corners, Indiana, which is what our town was called until the name was changed in 1884!!! (That's not a typo...1884!)
