I just logged into paypal and started tallying up January 2014 shipping. What a freaking nightmare. It's going to take me the next month just to add up a years worth of shipping.

You can request a file download for the whole year from PP and open it in Excel, then sort by name and subtotal that. That will give you everything you sold/bought in 2014, in one spot.
I do something similar, I get the Quickbooks download.

I'm not good with excel, all I want (at this point) is to figure out how much was spent in shipping for 2014. Adding it up in previous years has been extremely time consuming but relatively easy. Now that they changed the site I'm finding it nearly impossible to get what I need the way I used to get it. I've played around with using the "new site" but it seems to be glitchy. Right now I'm getting an error that says "We didn’t find any payments." but it worked fine a little bit ago doing the same thing.

I print out "payments sent" for each month. (In paypal) Then you just go through and mark out what isn't shipping and add up the rest. I also went back to the classic site, I couldn't figure it out the new model. But I have a low threshold for patience..

That would be a lot of ink but maybe I'll try it. There are also payments sent for inventory purchased to resell and ssb, upak, ship saver insurance, etc. When I click to see those and try to get back to the log it's boots be back to my account overview and I have to start over. It's been a nightmare.
i think Im going to do focus only on adding up the shipping then I'll go back and attempt to get everything else.
