We get questions:
I am interested in this (very heavy and fitted) coat. It says the waist is 36". My waist is 37", can the buttons be moved over to accommodate this?
We get mansplainations:
Can you send a photo of the small flaw described - I know you said it was difficult to photograph, so if you're using a digital camera you'll need to set it on macro. Describing flaws does make a difference in the price you can sell things for! (I couldn't even get a photo with an SLR and a specific macro lens, and, yes, I know about the macros, thanks).
We get requests:
Can you give me a discount on this (clearance priced) item?
Did eBay suddenly disgorge itself on Etsy?

They must be...and cloning themselves.
However, today I got a lovely message from a buyer on Etsy for whom I'd screwed up an order (I thought I was selling her old jet beads and they were old black glass beads - the antique dealer I got them from apparently did not know what they were doing) - she was really nice about it, told me how to tell for certain and was willing to return them. I just refunded her and said keep 'em - maybe you can use them in her work.
She's come back to purchase a 1930s piece of fabric and a kimono! She thanked me for putting my store on sale so that the items were within her reach and then said "I love you!!" LOL. No one has said that to me in ages!

Nice! Sometimes we get those rare gem of customers that make it bearable to deal with the others.
