I just heard an ad for eBay Fashion on the radio.
County station even.

On one of my FB groups, someone posted a pic of an eBay ad. On a huge billboard. In the heart of NYC.
I typically only listen to talk radio if I'm in the car, or I'm listening to music on my phone. And I rarely watch "Live" TV (except for Ellen and Dr Phil) so I tend to skip commercials.

And the news earlier here had a spot about how well amazon is doing in the fashion area with millenials and genXers - 16% of their spending is for clothes on amazon.

Yes, the market is definitely moving over. A lot of people already purchase a lot on Amazon, so including clothing is a very easy thing to do. Amazon also has some really nice designers on board, stuff that you just can't get in stores, or at least the selection. Add Prime to that and, well...
I'm glad eBay is advertising, though - they're really behind on the basics like advertising and infrastructure. eBay has a lot of things that Amazon doesn't have and they need to advertise that fact, also.

I heard one today. It bothers me that they are raising my fees for marketing and then paying that money for Ebay Fashion.

I keep hearing the ad on a "classic hits" station that plays a mix of classic rock and pop (3WS 94.5 for yinz locals). It mentions 5 specific brands: J. Crew, Madewell, Anthro, Tory Burch and Dolce Vita. Seems like the wrong audience, I'd imagine most of the people who listen to this station are in their 40s and older.

I'm sitting here on the couch. DH is watching Hulu. eBay fashion is every other ad they play

eBay needs to run ads on CBS. I'm really tired of all the drug ads. I have the Trulicity ad and the psoriasis ads memorized.

I was watching The CW network last night online and there was an ad for eBay, for spring gardening stuff!
Nice ad, my only issue is the eBay logo was in one color when presented at the end, white on green background, and didn't really register at first. The multicolor aspect of the eBay logo is as much a part of their historical brand as the name. I think it was a mistake on their part to make the logo all white.

I don't know what CW network is but I have never seen an ebay ad. I wish they'd put them on the regular tv channels--the main networks that everybody watches at least some of the time.

I heard an eBay motors ad on the radio the other day. I caught the end of it and can't remember what station it was on. Not a music station, because I don't listen to music in the car. It was either talk radio or a sport channel.
