I had no idea a place like this existed. I'm going to try cross-listing some of my mens eBay stuff there tomorrow. www.grailed.com

Looks like a great site Liz, will have to check out. I hope you do well on it. I love this on their about page:
"Grail / gräel / (noun)
that specific piece you obsess over owning, but can’t ever find or afford"

Liz - Val had mentioned that site quite a while ago. I listed about 15 things there. I got a couple of offers and some "likes" but no sales. Half the time I forgot about the site. Since then the items have sold on eBay. When I joined it was free to list. Now I believe there is a fee. Maybe if I had more stuff listed and was more active, I would've had more sales.
Good luck to you should you decide to try it out.
Oh I forgot I did have one sale that was canceled. can't remember why but Grail was very prompt in refunding "fvf".

Thanks. I clearly missed that post!
I'll have to look into their fees.
ETA: For anyone reading this and is curious: Free for Buyers, Low Seller Commission
GRAILED COMMISSION 6% + PAYPAL FEES 2.9% + 30¢ REFUNDS
In order for a seller to receive a fee refund on a listing, the buyer must be refunded in full through the original transaction with the refund marked as "Completed". If you do not have the required funds in your PayPal balance, you should add them by initiating a transfer from a confirmed bank account. Once this is done, please go to the sold listing page and click the "Request Fee Refund" button and follow the on-screen prompt.

I have some items listed there, have only sold one piece so far. I do get a lot of watchers though..many more than on ebay. A few items have 10 or so watchers there & 0 on ebay.

I forgot I had stuff over there. I just checked and no lookers. I did "bump" my items though.

many offers, not much follow thru, lots of hype. the site promotes a certain type of 'fashion guy' who is eager to scoop up a high fashion item before it sells out, but I haven't fond that to be the case I do like that they take the fees out right away tho, rather than hitting you with a big monthly bill later

My 19YO buys/sells on grailed and reddit off shoot groups all the time. He rarely shops on ebay ~ even though he's been around it his whole life

Mine too. He has no interest in eBay unless he's looking for fountain pens or a search takes him there.
He was thrilled that I found and bought NWT Uniqlo black pants on eBay $9, for him for work that do not look like slacks and don't look skinny either. He has worn them about 3 times a week coming up on two years now. I suggested he save a search on eBay for more. His reply was, "Nah, I'll just order from their website. He'd rather pay more than deal with searching. Kids.

I think a lot of the younger market are going towards off-shoot groups and the like - eBay to them is just a monster junk site with a bad search.

Well, I got a couple of really low ball offers. No bites on the counters.
Everything that I listed ended up selling on eBay anyways.
