I was reading a post from my eBay Linked In group that said eBay removed the ability to set key words for your store pages a few weeks ago. I checked in my store just now, and it came up with a page that says "Page Not Responding" so it appears this poster might be right.
Is anyone else getting this page?
To check, go to Manage My Store, then Store Design, then Search Engine Keywords.
If the Linkin poster is right, that might explain recent drops in traffic and sales. He says he has not been able to access this feature for weeks now. IF it's not accessible by us, is it accessible by search engines?

I get the page not responding message too. I don't know how long it has been like that. I haven't changed mine in quite awhile because I was barely listing. I was planning on updating them when I started really listing again and don't like the idea that I can't do it anymore. Stupid for ebay to remove that function, you would think they would want to drive more traffic to their sellers so there would be more sales, which would be money in ebays pocket. But this may be just another case of them making changes without knowing how things actually work.

I have no KWs set for my store. Buyers still find me. I still have sales.
I'm sure it has some impact, but I don't think it is impactful enough to make a difference in losing a bunch of sales. At least not in the preowned clothing business.

You're tweeting and using other ways to drive traffic. For a seller who is not doing anything, it's probably affecting hits from outside search engines. Some larger sellers are very upset about it.
So far, the keywords on the storefront page are still accessible, and I do know those come up in search engines as I've seen mine.
