Thanks for the info! That stinks that they are closing on those days though.

Why does it stink? They always close Christmas Day/New Years Day but those are on Sunday this year. Hence a Monday holiday.

Doesn't bother me that they are closed, but I wasn't aware that they would be closed on those Mondays.

Almost all, if not all, government offices and banks will be closed on Dec 26 and Jan 2. Monday is usually the 'holiday' when Christmas falls on Sunday.
I have a client planning on being open Monday Jan 2, he thinks all his subs and suppliers will be open (they won't, I asked). So his guys will be sitting at the office twiddling their thumbs. Oh well.

Stinks for us since we are used to having service on those dates. I think? Maybe my memory fails me - I haven't been sleeping a lot lately.
Good for them though. Not really a big deal. That's all I meant.

When the holiday is a weekday, USPS closes that day and early on the day before (Christmas Eve/NY Eve). But this year the eves are on Saturday and Saturdays already have abbreviated hours. So Monday holiday. Last year the holiday was Friday, they were closed and all of mine closed early on Thursday (which caught some of us by surprise, oops!).

That's good. No rush to ship until Tuesday, assuming we get any sales over Christmas weekend.

Most of my December sales come in the last week of the month. I think it's folks shopping for themselves.
