So someone bought two pieces of jewelry from me! I'm thrilled but flummoxed. Can I ship them together (I'd upgrade her to a Priority Flat Rate Box from 2 paid 1st class). Now that I've finally found the shipping page, can I pay for the flat rate priority box on one item and then manually upload the same tracking number for the second item like I do on eBay? Is that how it works on Etsy too? I'm afraid to start to do it and then not be allowed to load the same number onto the second item so I wouldn't have tracking for the second one.

etsy is not ebay. Since I use stamps.com for labels, my sold stuff says I still haven't shipped it.

I see that you can click on "Mark As Shipped" (and maybe upload tracking there, not sure, I can't do that until I figure out what to do here). Don't you have to prove that you mailed it if they say they didn't get it?

I couldn't find the answer to your question on Etsy, so I googled it. This is what one person said in a discussion on the same question which was from Feb 2016.
If buyer is same just send one package, print one label and mark the other one "Shipped " Add tracking info and done. I do the same a lot of time!!
Oh and congrats on the sale.

I found a copy of a sale on Etsy for 2 items, but don't remember the process. It was two separately listed knit hats. Each alone would weigh 3 oz. & ship for $2.60 (no handling fee). My info shows they paid $3.02 for a 6 oz package. I printed the label on Etsy. It looks like Etsy automatically grouped them together.

My buyer paid for two separate first class shipping (I probably don't have my preferences set right), so I want to send her one insured Priority package. I could always go to Paypal shipping and make the label but I wouldn't get the Etsy discount that way and I may not be able to upload the same tracking number twice so I would potentially have the same problem.

There's a way to make it into one package/label while you're shipping, but you have to turn off the "fill in shipping info automatically option".
Then when you to to print your label, TWO labels will pop up...you click on the little X in the corner of one label, adjust the weight etc for the other and there you go.
