I L O V E them - no more taking the extra 2.5 seconds to have to scroll up and down (and I mean that sincerely!). Good job!

Totally agree! With my hands, all the mousing time I can skip, all adds up! I love them!

Thanks, Gabi! I didn't know if they were new or if I'd just missed them before.

Yay, love those arrows. Don't know why Pinterest disabled them, I thought they invented them. I wish facebook would get them.

Is there a way to make them optional?

Not that I know of. But they're in dead space, so you could probably just ignore them. I do

On my monitor, the arrows overlap some of the text, but it's not a big deal.

Good to know.
What browser are you using? I'm on Safari and they're in the gray open space to the right of the posts. Same for me on Firefox. Or I wonder if it's your monitor setting?

Nice find, Gabi!
Emerald, is your browser window very narrow? The arrows are at a fixed distance from the right side of the screen, so if you make your browser window wide enough that should fix the problem. ("Should", which in the computer world means "Eh, maybe it'll work.")

In vertical or landscape mode on my iPad, the arrows straddle, half on the grey space and half on the text area and the only thing they cover there is half the "gear" box. I really appreciate having them, Gabi, and their position does not bother me at all.

I'm using Firefox. The arrows are about 2/3 in the message area, and 1/3 in the gray border. My window is as wide as it gets.
