Tradesy used to be pretty good about cleaning up the background on listed items that needed it. Most times it was done in 24 hours, even over night. I've had a couple of items up for at least 3 to 4 weeks and they still aren't done.
I emailed them about the number difference in active listings and closet listings and also asked about the cleanup. They totally ignored the listings discrepancy, but said hopefully the cleanup would be done by the end of the week. That was on the 8th.
I was just wondering if anyone else was having this issue.
I don't know why I worry about it, sales on Tradesy are like non-existent.

I list so little that I hadn't noticed, but I think Tradesy is starting to get bigger than it can handle, and these things are just slipping. I hear stories of people going to yard sales and the bins, loading up tons of cheap stuff and sending it to them, I guess on the off-chance, which is really abusing it. They've had to start charging disposal/donation fee and I'm pretty sure I know that getting tons of junk like this is a reason. This is eating into resources needed for other services.
Honestly, I don't think Tradesy is going to last much longer in its present state, which is a shame.

I have no sales over there. But then again, I only have a handful of listings just to see how it works.
Just read another thread where the fees are going from 9% to 14.X% starting 1 Dec.

Derr...you're right. I'm in a bad period right now and not thinking very straight.
Tradesy is the one I think headed towards an IPO.
