So, I sold an item I had listed on Etsy on another venue (Ebay). Naturally, I deleted the Etsy listing.
Then I got to thinking...I had just listed the top on Etsy, so the $.20 for four months was barely used. Should I have just redone the listing into a new item? Is that unethical? It's not like it sold on Etsy, therefore giving me my $.20 worth.
Does anyone do this?

I don't see why not. Ethically speaking does etsy charge a fee per sale? If so, then I guess they would want you to keep listing so they could make a profit.

Wow, I think that is a great idea. I've wasted almost a dollar deleting fairly fresh listings on Etsy when it's sold on Ebay. I would totally do this and I will do this next time it happens.

Okay, I tried this repurposing thing today, and it worked, but you need to check to make sure the photos all upload correctly. The first time it still had some of the original photos. Also, it keeps the stats that were acquired with the first item, and if Etsy has a "recently listed" type feature I don't think it will show up there.
