Anyone else get this email?
Dear shopping*addiction:
As a seller that paid Featured Plus! fees for eBay listings in the United States between January 23, 2008 and February 4, 2013, you have been identified as a Settlement Class Member in the Custom LED v. eBay class action suit.
We are writing today to let you know that the Settlement has now received final approval from the Court, and—as a result of this approval—you may be eligible for a credit. If you are eligible, your credit will be calculated and automatically applied to eBay account shopping*addiction, reflected on your statement as "Featured Plus! Settlement Credit."
Please note that there is nothing that you need to do to receive this credit. If you have any questions about this credit, please visit ebayfeaturedplusclassaction.com, email info@eBayFeaturedPlusClassAction.com, or call (888) 744-4635.
As always, thank you for selling on eBay.
Sincerely, The eBay Seller Team

Thing is, this email makes it seem like I paid for Feature Plus, but I don't recall ever paying for it.
Just an FYI if you see this credit in your statement but didn't receive notification.

Interesting that there was a class action suit. Let us know if you see a fee credit on your account. I hadn't heard about the lawsuit, but I don't keep up on all the eBay related news. I never used Featured Plus, either. I should check over at ecommercebytes and see if there's anything about it there.

Expect to receive your dollar, lol. I had one for ebay motors. I had no idea anything was going on and received a notice and a check for just over $1. quite sure the attorney must have received a million or so.

Yep, I have been unknowingly in Class Action suits with stocks and the "settlements" have rarely been over a few dollars.
The lawyers are the ones who get the big bucks.

I got that too. I probably did use Feature Plus, because I used to sell children's book & clothing lots.
I'll be surprised if the fee credit is more than a dollar or two, or less, lol. I had one for Ebay Motors also that I think was either right under or over a dollar.

Just think about the postage paid on sending you that dollar check. Such a waste. I'd gladly donate back what ever paltry refund to eBay if they would use the collective funds to fix things that are broken instead of futzing with stupid 'improvements'.

Oh how I hope they really do offer something. I was good for a few hundred a month for these back in the day. Yes, it was excessive and I paid it and it worked, I sold like crazy. No one twisted my arm, but if they are offering a percentage back I would gladly take it! Thank you or posting this

$.29
Way back when when kids lots sold well--I'm sure I used feature plus on one or two good auctions.

So what happens to the credits they're posting to the accounts of people who never use the site anymore? It's not like it is huge amounts but I don't want to see eBay get it back either. What was the case about? Were they collecting money to feature people's auctions and then not doing so? That was the $20 to have your item always on the first page, right?

$1.84. This will pay my fees for a while for the only thing I have listed.

I know I googled the lawsuit and it had the information on those that have closed their accounts. Send a check to the last known address?

It was something like people were paying for Featured Plus, with the promise of the listings on the top of results when searchers used their keywords. It ended up that certain types of searches wouldn't put them at the top. I didn't read the details, just someone else's summary. There's currently another class action suit regarding GTC listings. If you used an add-on feature with a GTC, it wasn't made clear that every 30 days you'd be charged again for the listing and the feature.
