What was the final verdict on writing on pics?

I remember before I left a couple years ago they were saying you couldn't write on your photos. I want to put what measurement is in the photo, like bust or length so buyers know what they are looking at. Is that still allowed or no? Or to circle a flaw etc.

If I remember correctly wasn't that just for the gallery photo?

I have been making flaws on mine with circles/arrows and with text for ages and nothing has ever been said to me about it.

I plan on doing it until they tell me personally that I can't.

I don't know, I know it was being debated if it was just gallery or all pics. I left and wasn't sure if it was ever decided. Sounds like it's another "improvement" that they announced and then let go so I'll just proceed as normal. Thanks

I never stopped doing it, nor has EBay ever tried to make me stop, so I haven't paid much attn. For awhile, I was getting warnings in TL, but I haven't gotten those for awhile. I don't do it in the gallery photo though.

I've read about a million time on boards & such, that it's not allowed & I've been hearing that for maybe 2 yrs, but until EBay tells me it's not allowed, I'll continue to do it.

I also use arrows and text for flaws and have never had a problem. Haven't ever used it on a gallery photo.

It better be allowed because I added it to a bunch of pics. Going to stick to have to redo them (watch cracking down will be the spring update LOL). Didn't put it on any gallery pics though so hopefully it will be ok. Probably should have asked before I had 2000 pics taken, that was a lot of digging through to find the ones that needed it.
