I assume this happens to you too. I go on to Tradesy and it starts to go down a list of my items that have been there for awhile, telling me how if I lower my price, considerably, it will sell 3x faster! Sure would. If I have an 18kt gold and jade vintage bracelet and lower my price to 21.50, yeah, it would. Or if I cut my prices are on more pedestrian items by 50-80% sure it would. But then, that would be a going out of business sale at a tremendous loss. So, uh, no. I think I won't.
Tradesy is joining eBay in the race to the bottom. I don't like this new concept very much. Tradesy was better when it was going after buyers with a different mentality than eBay.

It doesnt bother me actually. I go through the list and make the changes I want to make. Last time I did it was when I sold 3 things in 24 hours. But I understand why it would be annoying.

I just got a note like that on a consignment item that they did a very poor job presenting - 'no measurements available' - I don't want it back so I slashed it. The other messages are for things that have really but up there long enough that I don't mind cutting the prices. I won't do it on new stuff.
BTW, if you have a featured item in your closet that sells on eBay or wherever, check that when you delete it you delete it for both featured and regular sections. I had to cancel an order because it sold, DESPITE my deleting it from the category. I went back and there it was, featured. Kind of like their .gif shipping labels that no one can scan, it's bad coding.

I had that pop up the other day. Some of the things I marked down because there was still some price wiggle room left, but on others I was like, "Oh he!! NO! What are you smokin?" and left those at my price. I sold 2 things in one day after I did that. Usually it's one sale a month.

Did you sell the ones you marked down when you sold the 2 in one day, or other ones? The disparity between their suggested price and my price was very great. The worst--they thought I should sell my 18kt gold and jade vintage bracelet for 20-something dollars. Uh, no...it's up for like 400-500.

Some of their "suggestions" were really stupid. They wanted me to lower the price on something I had up for $40 or so to $6!! Uh, NO!! But other things they suggested lowering only $1 or $2 which I did because I used their suggestions in the first place even though they seemed high to me. None of the items I lowered the price on were the ones that sold, but it seemed to shake things loose a bit. I had more followers after that too. I hadn't gained any followers for months.

Although some of their suggested prices are ridiculous, I quite like the way this price drop is set up. Sure, I'd actually like to drop the price on that stale skirt by $5, why not It's been listed on ebay for even less anyway for ages.

I've noticed recently that about half the time on my new listings, Tradesy doesn't give suggested prices. And when they do it's a lot lower than it used to be.

I noticed that as well, sunset. Wonder if it's brand-specific?
