Not complaining at all. Just simply surprised since it has been dead over there. I hope it continues!

Congrats, mup! Hi ((((roy)))) Sorry you haven't sold anything there but it's good to "see" you!
I've had 3 in the last week which is good for me over there. It does tend to peter out to nothing and then pops up and yells surprise! And it's a great surprise!

I was happy with 4 sales last week after no sales for 2 months.

Just got another offer on something but I think my daughter took the item. Purse.
I have been trying to get the chickens settled before the snow this week. They are in, the dogs have to stay away and my garden is cleaned out for the year.
Still have some stuff to get done but I can do that on nice days this fall. I will be back to listing soon!

Wait...what??? "Before the snow this week" ? Did you move to Alaska? It was 88 degrees here today. Send those chickens down here and I will put them in the cat pen.

Where are you, MUP? It's in the 40s and raining here in the mornings, then rises to 50 and raining. I can well imagine snow moving in towards the end of the week anywhere east of the mountains from here and into to the northern tier. I've probably sold 8-10 coats in just the last few days - they're all going to the northeast.
I'm going to keep listing on Tradesy. I was up to 80-some items but kept having to pull things down. I only have 35 now. I don't have a lot that does well there, but I'll list as much as I do have.

I am in Denver. We are supposed to get our first snow on Thursday. I dont believe it but we will get overnight freezes. It has been dipping down into the 40's overnight for the last couple of weeks so most of it was done anyhow. I stripped the last of the plants today so the chickens can get in there and do what they do best. Turn dirt! Plus, chickens cant eat tomato plants so they needed to go.
They have a little chick heating pad in the coop with them since one of them barely has feathers still. Funny story, when I was searching Amazon for chick heat pad it kept giving me crock pots in the results. LOL
I put most of my new stuff up on TRadesy now. I do better there than on Ebay. I hate the week+ wait for my money though.

If a buyer has to request a return within 4 days of delivery, why can't Tradesy release our money on the 5th day of delivery. On the 5th day, it's supposedly too late to request a return, right? Why do I have to wait any longer than that?

That's great info about Tradesy, MUP - I'll try harder there. I even sourced a couple of things for Tradesy, but my niche is so off the wall usually, and it's very slow for me - OTOH, the double listing is pretty easy and I did plan to do it in my listing goals this month.
Just don't use their labels - ugh, they're a .gif file that is unscannable.
I figured you were in the Colorado area but couldn't remember. Yeah, you're due for snow up there in milehighville.

I only have to wait 4 days from delivery to get paid. That may be because I've sold over 95 things there. Have you established a track record with them?

Post by dutchjazz on Oct 5, 2016 12:16:51 GMT
I've sold 28 things there. As far as I know, possibly, only one item has been returned. Majority of what I sell is NWT.
But even if someone doesn't have a track record, if the return request window is 4 days, then funds should be available after the 4th day.

I have been selling maybe two things a month. Sometimes I have to wait 4 days sometimes it is 5 or 6.

Sorry to be confusing.
Yes it is only 4 days. And then it is 2 - 3 days to transfer it to my account. And if it is a weekend then you wait longer. Stuff I shipped yesterday, I wont have the money for until next Wednesday!

Once they see that the item has been delivered (notation in the upper right corner of the sales message), they actually state that my money is available 4 days later and what time of day. Does yours say more than 4 days after delivery? Or do they say 4 days after but then the money isn't actually available...? If it's not happening like that for you, I'd contact their CS department. They are good at getting back to you quickly.
This was for an item marked as delivered on Oct 3:
Sale Status COMPLETED Your item has been delivered. Your earnings will be available to withdraw by October 7, 2016 at 1:51 pm PST.

^^^ Correct. It just depends on delivery times I guess.

Usually that is what it says. This time it just says pending delivery date.
this is how it normally works.
Shipped Oct 5th. Money will be ready 4 days after, so the 10th counting Saturday and not counting Sunday. I can withdraw on the 10th. It will take 2 - 3 days to get it from Tradesy to my checking account. Usually they do it in 2 days. So that is next Wednesday the 12th before I can actually access my money.

Funds - 1 - Delivered Sep 28, Available Oct 19 1 - Delivered Oct 1, Available Oct 22 2 - Delivered Oct 3, Available Oct 24
Prior to these sales which were last week, my money was available as soon as the item hit the mailstream, not even delivered, just showing they were accepted.

If you are not a business seller, then the holds are much longer than the 4 days.

Thanks Mup. I guess that explains it. I'm not a business seller.

I'm not a business seller but they only hold my funds for 4 days after delivery. Then it takes 3 - 4 days for the funds to transfer.
