I was checking to see what shipping would be for a 6 pound item so I entered it several times, once from my zip code to a neighboring zip code (I'm in Ohio), once with the zip code for one of the packages I sent out today (which happens to be 61616 to Illinois--easy to remember!), and once to 90010, which is the easy to remember zip code I use to test for the west coast. The only time I got USPS Retail Ground as an option was for the 90010 zip code. (The difference in cost was negligible.) We can still select USPS Retail Ground or USPS Parcel Select Ground on our listings, but I'm wondering if it will be an option when we go to ship? Has anyone heard anything about this--like maybe the post office is getting rid of their ground service? I've never seen a huge difference when shipping, I guess because of the discount we get, but it has made a difference to the amount the buyer has to pay.
