I just listed my first item on Shops Hers but I am confused about a few things.
They take 18%, is that correct?
Also, I am responsible for the cost of the shipping the item to Shop Hers, right?
Lastly, it says returns accepted on my page. Am I required to take returns on there or can I opt out of that somehow?
Thank you guys so much!

Yes, they take 18%.
Yes, you are responsible for shipping to Shop Hers.
I am confused about the return thing as well. I had been told that they (Shop Hers) take the returns and the seller is not involved. But then I saw a thing about measurements and how you should include them to reduce returns.

Thanks so much for your quick reply! ( This board is awesome!)
I would definitely be nice if they took the return and the seller wasn't involved. Perhaps I will send a email to them and see what the say.

I'm also now a little confused. I thought that once they paid you that was it - you weren't responsible for any returns. And since the money is deposited directly into your bank account, that was it - over and done. But I just went to the Shop Hers site, and they make it hard to find the return policy for sellers, and once you do find it, it's very vague.
If you get an answer Pyrex, let us know! I just sold an expensive coat there and was counting on that money for bills - I don't want to think that I may have to give it back.

Hmmm. I was under the impression that once they paid me, the transaction was over as far as I am concerned. I'm pretty sure that's how it works. It's not like PayPal where they can go into your bank account and take the money out, right?
I've had three sales there and all went very smoothly.

This was what threw me off. It's the only reference to sellers having to deal with it that I could find. And I agree, what little else there is, is very vague.

Unless it has changed, returns go back to shop-hers and they resell. I've sold quite a bit over there and never had a single return. I have though seen a few of my items being resold by the shop-hers sellers that I assumed was returned by the buyer, they even reused my photos on one item to resell. lol. Hopefully, it stays this way!

Thanks for the information. I just sold my first item on there this evening and I was so excited. That one sale was more than the three measly items I sold on ebay today

Yes, unless things have changed, they take any returns and you don't. A happy, happy thing. Today, I got my first message from a thrilled buyer. No buyer had ever contacted me before from there. It felt very good.

Returns are dealt with by Shop-Hers & you'll never hear about them. This ^^^^ that Odyssey posted is asking for YOUR measurements. Your physical measurements. Not the garments measurements. I don't think SH is meant to be sellers selling stuff like ebay - I think they want us to literally shop each others closets. Hence the "style sisters" measurements, and questions about if items you're listing still fit you. I find all that "sisterly" stuff distasteful, but them I'm just a basic.

I'm glad to hear they are dealt with by Shop Hers. The fact that it says "YOU are less likely to have items returned" made it sound like the seller had to accept them to me.
