He is doing better. He is at least barking and moving around ok. I'd never thought I'd see the day that I was happy to hear his bark. It is very loud and not for the faint of heart.
He tried to play last night and kind of fell. So we are trying to distract him of from over doing it. Oh he really stinks bad. I guess it is the infection. But we just bathed him before all of this started and I am wondering if that helped stir things up in the first place. I'm going to wait and talk to the vet tomorrow before we do any of that.
I appreciate all your kind thoughts and I know it helped him (and me so much) along!

He is so much better today. He has one hot spot on his leg that he can reach and that is not healing as well as the other ones. I think the pancreatitis is much better.
I think he is sick of rice and chicken but he does need to lose weight so I'm not worried right now.
His favorite past time is snoozing and I can tell he is enjoying it again. He gets in those deep sleep dreams, running and barking in his sleep. When he was real sick he wasn't doing any of that. He seems very happy again and that is all I care about!

He's a good boy. He is a good dog too. Just a typical, bark at the mailman, play for a bit and sleep all day kind of guy.
He is doing good now. We switch him back all the way to his dog food and I don't think he is too happy about that. Last night he laid by his bowl waiting for scraps or at least the chicken and rice he was getting. He never got them so eventually went to bed. I feel bad but the vet said absolutely no fat or scraps of any kind.
Just giving him more love and attention but honestly I think he'd rather have the food. He is a dog after all.
