It will be at 2:00 EST, but I doubt that I will be home from chemo in time.
Will be needing help with loading pics, I guess....once they force us to switch to the new Beta.

O crap, they are changing things again? Guess I better go and check things out as I want to start listing again. I don't understand why they have to keep changing things that work just fine as they are.

I went over and checked things out. The webinar is during my PT so I can't watch. I will just have to read about it after the fact to find out all that is going to change. I looked at the new beta lister. It just looks like a prettied up version of the classic lister, but everything is moved around. I wouldn't mind using the new one, however I know the classic one by heart and can do a listing fast and in my sleep cause I know where all the various fields are. Changing to using the new one means I have to memorize the new format and remember it each time I use it, which will slow down my listing tremendously. They seem to like to make changes just for the sake of making changes, and as a customer I don't appreciate that at all.

I signed up for it.
I tried the new lister, but found it clumsy, for me. I adapted to the beta of the current lister without any problem, but I'm not very fond of this one. Like you said, denise, it doesn't seem that much different except they put everything in reverse order. I'm having a hard time seeing the necessity for that.
If I remember to "attend", I'll report back.

Anyone watch it? Of course my chemo ran over-they are very busy in the morning.

I watched, denise. It was pretty useless. Scheduled for 20 minutes and lasted for 7. Didn't take any questions afterward. Said if you had questions, to email them. So, it was a short tutorial on using the new lister. I did learn that there's a gear icon on the bottom left of the new lister page, which allows you to somewhat customize it as far as the order. I'd mentioned in an earlier post that it seemed like they totally reversed the order, so I was happy when I heard that and figured I'd just put everything in the order it was in the old lister. Well, you can't really customize it to that degree. You can move sections around, but not items within that section and, unfortunately, they combined some things that were in different areas on the old lister into one area on the new lister, so there's no way to separate them and put each back where it was.
Since they didn't take questions, I have no idea why they made it a webinar rather than just posting a video tutorial on the site, like the other subject-specific ones they've had up there for a couple of years.

Thanks Terri! I guess that I didn't miss much. They probably don't understand it themselves.

I assume inkfrog is like SSB where you host your pics there and list from there? What is the monthly cost? I've always used SSB but not a member anymore since I haven't been listing. Need to get signed up for one pretty soon. Or just download TL and try to figure it out.

Peek, I pay $9.95 a month, but I'm grandfathered into an older plan. I'm not sure what the monthly fees are now. I think there are different levels with different options. Overall, I'd recommend it. I've been 95% happy with it and they're very responsive when you email tech support with a problem.
There's also an option for Inkfrog Traffic, which used to be included, but now I pay an extra $1.00 per month for. I really enjoy the spy feature there where you can pull up a map of the world and it has real info regarding who (IP address), where and which of your listings people are viewing.

I upgraded to the $14.95 plan so I have unlimited listing and storage. Love the traffic reports! I am very happy with them and wish they would quit upgrading. I have my pics in a folder in documents, and just download them from the folder. Take about 3 seconds per picture. Also, they have free scheduling.

Thanks, I'll look around and see if I can compare them to SSB and decide which I want to go with. SSB would be easy because I'm use to it. But figure if I'm going to change now is the time when I'm just starting back up again.

That's exactly how I feel. I like the service, but the repeated updating drives me nuts. Especially when it isn't really updating, it's just rearranging things that already worked just fine.

I got crazy with the last uploading update since I couldn't find the picture upload button. But it was wayyyyy over to the right. They have since moved the button to a visible place.

I've been trying to use the new lister so I would get used to it. I find it's not coming naturally and I really have to pay attention to what I'm doing which may not be a bad thing. Things are spread out, chopped up or something, it's just not intuitive for me. I switched from SSB when I needed more photo space and I really like IF for the most part. This change is throwing me a little but otherwise I like it.

Yeah, chic, I agree. I've been forcing myself to use it this week and I'm trying to figure out if it's truly not set up well, or if it's just me being resistant to change. I assume you read my post up there where I shared that one thing I did learn at the webinar was that you can use the gear icon on the bottom left to rearrange some sections within the lister. IMO, it's still not rearrangeable (I know that's not a word) enough to make it look how I'd want it.
They're asking for comments in the forum section of their website and I posted one there yesterday suggesting some changes I'd like to see. I didn't go back and read all the comments from the last month, but in skimming, it appears that they're taking to heart some of the comments and making changes, so if you have something specific to suggest, you might want to post there.

wow-I think I will hold off until I have to switch. My pics take about 3 seconds each to upload, so I don't need them to be faster.

I saw your post Classring and did some rearranging and I'm ok now. I've been a little off this week, my Dad's chemo schedule got screwed up and I've not been keeping up with anything. Hopefully our big snow storm tomorrow will allow me to catch up some!
